Week 25 is upon us! Welcome back to the 2022-23 Fantasy Hockey Week 25 Weekly Planner.
Unfortunately, the 2022-2023 NHL is slowly coming to an end. This season has been exciting for many reasons, and one has been the play of Connor McDavid. Last week, we saw McDavid hit the 60-goal plateau for the first time in his career. With ten games left in the season, we will likely see him break his career-high in assists as well. How many more do we think he has in him?
Connor McDavid is the 22nd player in NHL history with a 6️⃣0️⃣-goal season and the fourth active skater to reach the feat. How many will the @EdmontonOilers captain finish with in 2022-23?#NHLStats: https://t.co/MJQ7RtodNB pic.twitter.com/geCppR6e1e

Two teams have qualified for the playoffs, and we will see some other teams join the Bruins and Hurricanes during Week 25. What else can we look forward to in the upcoming week? Let's look ahead with the 2022-23 Fantasy Hockey Week 25 Weekly Planner!
2022-23 Fantasy Hockey Week 25 Weekly Planner
March 25, 2023 - March 31, 2023
Top Targets
Juuso Valimaki, Defense, Arizona Coyotes (28% Rostered)
Juuso Valimaki has been a pleasant surprise for Coyotes this season, and should give fans hope for the future. The 24-year-old has had a strong season with the team, registering three goals and 28 assists this season. Following the trades of Jakob Chychrun and Shayne Gostisbehere, Valimaki has secured his spot as the team's top defenseman.
If added to your fantasy team, just know that you will be adding a player that is valuable on both ends, consistently getting shots on the net while blocking shots on the other end.
Denis Malgin, Center/Right Wing, Colorado Avalanche (23% Rostered)

Denis Malgin was traded from Toronto to Colorado to fill a void on the team's fourth line. Three months later, Malgin sits on the team's top line alongside Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen.
The 26-year-old was moved up the lineup mid-game to replace the injured Evan Rodrigues and happened to make a great impression on the coach. Coach Bednar stuck with the line through practice, and Malgin was rewarded with regular shifts with two of the best players in today's NHL. After adding five goals and two assists over 11 games, look for Malgin to continue impressing in his new role!
Owen Tippett, Left Wing/Right Wing, Philadelphia Flyers (22% Rostered)

The Flyers had high expectations for Owen Tippett as he was the main return piece when trading Claude Giroux last season. Even with the disappointing season in Philadelphia, it feels like Tippett has lived up to expectations. He has set new career highs this season, registering 21 goals and 37 points this season.
Tippett can be found on the team's top line and top powerplay unit, so expect him to continue registering points through the final ten games of the season. Additionally, he is three shots back of the team lead in SOG so his ability to find the net can be handy for fantasy purposes!
Wyatt Johnston, Center, Dallas Stars (6% Rostered)
Hello, all!
Wyatt Johnston has 21 goals.
That's more goals than he is years old. He's 19.

He may be considered a dark horse candidate for the Calder Trophy this season, but Wyatt Johnston is coming on strong to finish the season.
Johnston recently scored in five straight games for the Stars, and overtook Matty Beniers for the rookie lead in goals scored (21). The 19-year-old has found comfort playing alongside captain Jamie Benn so look for the duo to continue building while they fight for the top spot in the Central Division. Rookie of the Year may be out of reach by now, but look for Johnston to remain a productive member of the Stars throughout their playoff run.
Injury Alerts
Josh Anderson, Right Wing, Montreal Canadiens

It has certainly been a season to forget for the Montreal Canadiens, and they will be finishing it out without Josh Anderson. The 28-year-old has been shut down for the season after suffering a high ankle sprain on Tuesday night. With ten games left in the season, Anderson sits in third place on the Habs in scoring, finishing the season with 21 goals and 11 assists. After an offseason of rehabbing and rest, we hope that Anderson is good to go by the start of next season!
Roman Josi, Defense, Nashville Predators
The Predators have been fighting for their playoff lives, but will now have to do so without their captain. Roman Josi exited Saturday's game with an undisclosed injury and was later diagnosed with an upper-body injury. Nashville is labeling the injury "day to day" but has now been without their leader for three straight games. The Preds sit three points out of the final Wild Card spot in the West and will need Josi's presence in the lineup in order to make their push for the postseason.
Evan Rodrigues, Center/Right Wing, Colorado Avalanche
Evan Rodrigues has done a great job of avoiding the injury bug that has hit the Colorado Avalanche hard this season. Unfortunately, it finally caught up to him as well.
The 29-year-old has been placed in concussion protocol after suffering an injury on Monday night against the Blackhawks. Rodrigues is in his first season in Colorado and has played a major role in the team's success through the injury-ridden season. He had registered 14 goals and 19 assists so far this year, and the Avs will hope to have E-Rod back as soon as possible as they make their playoff push.
Jeff Petry, Defense, Pittsburgh Penguins

The Penguins will be without a key member of their defensive core, as Jeff Petry remains out of the lineup with an upper-body injury. Petry was on the receiving end of a hit last Thursday and was not able to return to action. It has now been four straight games without Petry in the lineup, who finds time on the team's powerplay along with their penalty kill. Pittsburgh is still fighting for their chance for their spot in the playoffs and will need Petry to return in order to do so.
Team Worth Watching This Week
Washington Capitals

Given how the trade deadline went, you would imagine that the Washington Capitals were sellers. They moved Garnet Hathaway, Dmitry Orlov, Marcus Johansson, Erik Gustafsson, and Lars Eller for assets to help better their future. But here we are, ten games away from the end of the regular season. The Washington Capitals sit just four points out of the final Wild Card spot in the East. Looking at their week ahead, they may be able to gain the ground needed to extend their season.
Week 25 will see the Caps taking on the Penguins, Islanders, and Lightning. All three teams on the schedule sit in a playoff spot, and two of them are holding the Wild Card spots they are pursuing. The Penguins have been slipping as of late, and the Capitals are undefeated against the Islanders this season. Crazier things can happen, right?
Alex Ovechkin continues to chase down Wayne Gretzky's all-time goal record, and we know his team won't let up either. Keep an eye on the Capitals during Week 25.
