2022 Fantasy Football NFL Playoff Rankings

Welcome to the 2022 Fantasy Football NFL Playoff Rankings.

The regular season is over, but Fantasy Football does not need to be. You can join Fantasy Playoff leagues and I'm guessing if you are here, you already have.

There are different types of playoff league formats. These rankings are for draft and hold leagues, which are typically best ball.

The strategy for these leagues' drafts is quite different than your regular season strategy. You are not just predicting the performance of the players, you need to take into consideration the number of games each player will play.

A common strategy in playoff leagues is stacking the teams you expect to make the Super Bowl. This season the Chiefs and Bills are heavy favorites to come out of the AFC and the 49ers and Eagles are the favorites in the NFC.

For these rankings. I figured the number of games per team to break down as follows:

4: Bills, 49ers

3: NONE

2: Chiefs, Eagles, Vikings, Chargers, Bengals, Buccaneers

1: Seahawks, Dolphins, Giants, Ravens, Jaguars, Cowboys

Yes, that means I'm projecting a Bills vs 49ers Super Bowl. Now, of course, if you don't agree with me, you will need to adjust your rankings accordingly, cause as I said before, in most cases more games played is what you want.

I'm usually all about going after a QB really early, even first round early, but this year feels different. I want these dynamic players from the teams that I believe will go far.

Now don't get me wrong you still need to attack QB earlier than in normal drafts but I'm not forcing a QB in Round 1 or even Round 2 this season. One more reason why, is we do not have clear cut favorites from each conference. This makes choosing your QB a bit more tricky since if they go out early you might be screwed if you spent a higher draft pick on them.
