Top Quarterback Add

Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, San Francisco 49ers (59% rostered Yahoo / 44.5% rostered ESPN)

In full honesty, this is a copy-and-paste from last week. Not because I'm lazy, but because I genuinely cannot recommend a better broadly available quarterback on the waiver wire. And even then, he barely fits the criteria for this article. That said, here's the pitch:

Since Week 5, Garoppolo is QB11 in points per game (17.58), according to FantasyPros. In addition, he has a great playoff schedule (TB, @SEA, WAS, @LV). With weapons like Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle and company, Jimmy G is the signal-caller in a high-powered offense that, at minimum, provides safety.

Top Running Back Add

Jerick McKinnon, RB, Kansas City Chiefs (23% rostered Yahoo / 25.6% rostered ESPN)

McKinnon enters Week 11 with two games in a row of six catches and zero finishes outside the top 40 in PPR since Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As Clyde Edwards-Helaire has faded and rookie Isiah Pacheco has ascended, the constant in this Chiefs offense is the veteran McKinnon.

If nothing else, fantasy managers can feel at ease knowing they have a flex-worthy back at their disposal by adding McKinnon to their bench. His 2022 track record is safe. Especially if you don't have a plan for this week, given all the Chiefs' injuries.

Top Wide Receiver Adds

Parris Campbell, WR, Indianapolis Colts (39% rostered on Yahoo / 50.8% rostered ESPN)

As scary as trusting a member of the Colts' offense might be, Campbell feels worthy of consideration for fantasy managers. What makes Campbell a particularly appealing option is his connection with quarterback Matt Ryan.

In his last three starts with Ryan under center (Week 6, Week 7, Week 10), Campbell has been targeted a combined 24 times. Should the rapport between the two continue, Campbell is a worthy addition to any roster looking to compete. That target volume is very strong.

Van Jefferson, WR, Los Angeles Rams (28% rostered on Yahoo / 16% rostered ESPN)

Last season, Jefferson was a fairly impactful asset to the Rams' offense, with 50 receptions on 89 targets, 802 receiving yards, and six touchdowns. That production was good enough to see Jefferson finish as the WR36 overall in PPR scoring, according to FantasyData.

Now that Cooper Kupp is injured and potentially stands to miss the remainder of the 2022 NFL season, Jefferson is my pick for the receiver that makes the most sense to fill Kupp's shoes. Mind you, I am explicitly, right now, saying Jefferson will not be Cooper Kupp. But if I am going to pick a Rams receiver to pick up, I would go with taking a chance on Jefferson.
