Welcome to the 2022 Fantasy Football Week 5 Drop List.
Week 4 is officially in the books, and we were gifted with a doozy of Sunday games. The Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks went bonkers and completely smashed the over/under of this game. It turned out to be a fantasy goldmine game.
As for the rest of the games, we saw some players go down (Javonte Williams and Jonathan Taylor). It's also worth mentioning we are getting more clarity on team situations (Breece Hall took the job from Michael Carter).
Enough with the introductions. Let's jump into the 2022 Fantasy Football Week 5 Drop List.

A Couple Of Wideouts
Julio Jones, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (60.7%)
It's time to drop Julio Jones. There is no way you can rely on him, his proneness to injury is too much to worry about. Couple that with the fact that Julio only saw two targets (eighth on the team), it's looking like an easy decision to let him go.
It's worth mentioning that all of the Buccaneers WRs are (relatively) healthy and should be playing every week now. Chris Godwin (ten targets) and Mike Evans (ten targets) are the breadwinners in this offense.
Having said that, I'd rather see Romeo Doubs and George Pickens on your rosters.
Greg Dortch, WR, Arizona Cardinals (23.3%)
Well, that was fun for a little bit. Greg 'the dutchman" Dortch (27 snaps) has officially become irrelevant. With Rondale Moore (5 targets) making his return, Greg Dortch (1 target; Tied for 6th) was relegated to an insignificant role.
It will only get worse for Dortch, as Deandre Hopkins makes his return in a few weeks. Now is the best time to hop off this train and drop him from your team.
As I said before, try and pick up George Pickens.
On the Bubble
Allen Robinson, WR, Los Angeles Rams (85%)
We will have to see what goes down in the Monday Night Football game, but as of right now, Allen Robinson is dangerously close to being on the drop list.
Through three games, Robinson has 12 targets (11.9% target share) and seven catches. He was saved by a touchdown in Week 2. If not for that, Allen Robinson would have already been on the drop list.
I'm not saying drop him right now, but monitor him these next few games.
Reiteration
Get these players off your fantasy teams. I'm going to keep putting guys here that I have mentioned before, hoping you guys will finally get rid of these three.
In this section, I will just highlight a few more reasons why these three should be dropped.
Carson Wentz, QB, Washington Commanders (55.8%)
- Two straight games under ten fantasy points.
- Turnover Wentz is back.
- The offensive line is BAD (11 sacks allowed in the past two games).
Kenneth Walker, RB, Seattle Seahawks (52.2%)
- Zero games with double-digit touches.
- Three straight games under seven fantasy points.
- Out-snapped by Rashaad Penny 48 to 25.
Jarvis Landry, WR, New Orleans Saints (52%)
- Two targets in Week 4 (5.3% target share).
- Three straight games under seven fantasy points.
- Chris Olave took over the number-two option from him.
- Out-snapped and targeted by Marquez Callaway this week.
That should do it for the 2022 Fantasy Football Week 5 Drop List. Be sure to check out the rest of the content at F6P.
