2023 Fantasy Football Week 15 Stock Up/Stock Down

Fantasy managers are missing some big-time impact players this week with teams like the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, and Philadelphia Eagles on their bye week. This article will examine some of the 2022 Fantasy Football Week 7 Waiver Wire Stashes you need on your rosters, whether as streamers this week or guys you can keep on your roster for the future.

If you do not already, feel free to follow me on Twitter (@HermsNFL).

Hopefully, this article will highlight some impactful players for your Fantasy teams as we near the end of October.

We actually talked about a couple of these players on the most recent edition of my podcast, The Lateral Show. Check that out below:

Top Quarterback Add

Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, San Francisco 49ers (52% rostered Yahoo / 24.1% rostered ESPN)

While there is no telling how the recent trade for running back Christian McCaffrey will impact the other skill position players, like Deebo Samuel or George Kittle, in the Niners' offense, we do know one member of the offense this acquisition helps. At first glance, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo seems like a boring answer, as he ranks 20th in Fantasy points per game per FantasyData. But he's getting better!

Over his last three starts, Garoppolo is the QB13 in Fantasy, and now he gets an elite running back with receiving acumen to dump off to out of the backfield. With the addition of McCaffrey, recent trending in the right direction, and the inherently conservative nature of his play, Garoppolo is a good candidate to be a low-end QB1/high-end QB2 the rest of the way this Fantasy season.

Top Running Back Adds

Kyren Williams, RB, Los Angeles Rams (30% rostered Yahoo / 7.6% rostered ESPN)

As I mentioned in the standard edition of the waiver wire column this week, the rookie running back out of Notre Dame warrants consideration as the Rams continue to work through the Cam Akers "will they/won't they" trade situation.

Williams did not perform well at the NFL Combine, but he showed a lot as a receiver out of the backfield in the college games I watched of his. Moreover, it seems the Rams coaching staff really likes the kid. Take a shot on Williams.

Gus Edwards, RB, Baltimore Ravens (33% rostered Yahoo / 9.5% rostered ESPN)

With running back J.K. Dobbins set to miss four-to-six weeks following a knee procedure, the Baltimore Ravens backfield is wide open. In the short-term, veteran Kenyan Drake is the likeliest player to have an immediate impact in Week 7. If you're looking for a solution for your lineup this week, I would look out on the waiver wire for Drake.

That said, the walking 700-yard Gus Edwards machine was activated off the PUP list on Saturday. Though he hasn't seen a football field in over a year since tearing his ACL, he has the trust of the Baltimore coaching staff and has shown he can produce before (RB37 overall in PPR scoring in 2020). If you've got space on your bench, stash Edwards.

Top Wide Receiver Adds

Alec Pierce, WR, Indianapolis Colts (55% rostered on Yahoo / 39.8% rostered ESPN)

There is no reason the rookie out of University of Cincinnati should be available in your league. Pierce has been on fire lately and is a must-roster in all Fantasy formats. If he is still on your waiver wire, scoop Pierce immediately.

Wan'Dale Robinson, WR, New York Giants (27% rostered Yahoo / 13.4% rostered ESPN)

I didn't make an intentional choice to feature two of my own tweets in this article when I started writing, but when you're onto something, stick with it. The Giants rookie wideout came back from injury and had an immediate impact in the offense in Week 6. Robinson is an interesting PPR stash, particularly as a slot receiver in a Brian Daboll offense.
