2022 Maters Tournament: ThriveFantasy Picks (Thurs)

Welcome to the 2022 Masters Tournament: ThriveFantasy Picks (Thurs) round one action at Augusta National.

This is a huge week for sports fans. Monday night featured the NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship, with Kansas mounting the largest comeback in March Madness history to beat North Carolina.

Then on Tuesday night, we have 12 NBA games scheduled with the Playoffs less than two weeks away. The NHL is also entering its final stretch with the Playoffs set to begin in May.

And this Thursday, the MLB will throw out its first pitch of the season, post-lockout. On that very same afternoon, the 2022 Masters Tournament tees off from Augusta National! Oh, and Tiger Woods is a game-time decision!

ThriveFantasy allows those of us in states that have no legalized sports betting to play their prop bet game! [Editors Note: Gambling legislation wildly varies from state to state. Even those with legalized gambling might not allow ThriveFantasy's prop bet game. But worth checking it out and playing if you can!]

The game is simple, pick 10 out of the 20 prop bets. If they hit, you rack up points. However, unlike at The Masters, you want to score as many points as possible here.

There are all types of bets with different point values. The less probable the prop is to occur, the more points the pick is worth. For example, Jon Rahm's prop is 0.5 Eagles The under is only worth 50 points but the over is worth 150 points! But then a guy like Jordan Spieth has a prop bet for over/under 11.5 PARs which is a 100 point pick'em.

There are also prop bets to pick from that feature total strokes, eagles, birdies, and all sorts of different combinations.

The Overs

Collin Morikawa - 67.5 STRs (70 pts)

The only golfer with better odds than Morikawa (+1000) on DraftKings sportsbook to have a Bogey free round is Jon Rham (+900). Justin Thomas, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Cameron Smith, Xander Schauffele, Viktor Hovland, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy are also +1000.

Justin Thomas - 3.5 BRDs (80 pts)

Thomas has the third-best odds to win at +1400 . The only way he can do that is with a handful of birdies!

Patrick Cantlay - 10.5 PARs (85 pts)

Cantlay is +225 to finish in the top 10. Slow and steady won't win the race but he can help us cash on ThriveFantasy!

Hideki Matsuyama - 0.5 EAGs (145 pts)

Matsuyama is -125 to make an Eagle. That's outside the top 10 but he made four Eagles last year en route to winning the Green Jacket! The neck injury should keep enough people away from this prop that if it hits it will be a huge bonus!

The Unders

Brooks Koepka - 4.5 EAGs + BRDs (90 pts)

Koepka is just outside the top four and tied with four other golfers at +2500 to win Round 1. If you believe he will go over 4.5 Eagles and Birdies you should also take him to be the Round 1 winner.

Bryson DeChambeau - 12.5 PARs + BOGs (125 pts)

DeChambeau has the worst odds at +115 to miss the cut for all golfers not named Tiger Woods. However, I am taking the under here in hopes everybody else is wrong and to steal 125 points!
