Derrick Henry carried the rock 28 times against the Packers who give up rushing yards like candy on Halloween. And what do you know? Henry missed his line of over 99.5 rushing yards. Go figure.
On the bright side, Treylon Burks had his breakout game, with two long catches and seven total for 111 yards. He beat his over on his very first catch of the night, which was very nice of him! Aaron Rodgers played well enough against the Titans' suspect passing defense to throw two TD passes, both to Christian Watson.
Speaking of Christian Watson, the man is coming alive. Allen Lazard is still WR1 of the Packers, with 11 targets against the Titans, but Watson tied with Randall Cobb for second among the receivers. It’ll be interesting to see what happens when Romeo Doubs comes back.
Alright now, let's talk about this week: Thanksgiving week! This means we’ve got a lot of football on Thursday! I’ll quickly run through the lines and give initial thoughts, if I went into detail we’d be here a while. Then, I'll give two or three props from each game, giving attention to one of them. All of the game lines and props come from DraftKings Sportsbook.
First off, the Buffalo Bills face off against Detriot. Buffalo is favored by 9.5 and the line is set at 54.5. Buffalo should win this one but the Lions are on a hot streak and could keep this interesting.
Next, Dallas faces off against the Giants at 4:30 EST. The 'Boys are favored over the G-men by a whopping ten points, with the line set at 45.5. The Giants just lost rookie WR Wan’Dale Robinson who was looking like a primary weapon for them and they will now rely on Saquon Barkley and Darius Slayton against Dallas.Â
Our last game is a doozy, Minnesota vs New England. New England’s special team unit scored more points than these two teams' offenses combined. Minnesota is favored by three, and the over/under is down at 42. People will be watching Kirk Cousins in this primetime game waiting for meme-worthy things to happen. That or everyone will be in a food coma so no one is there to watch and he'll go off for a huge game. No one knows.
