Our QBs and RBs were strong last week, though I can't say I was "digging deep" for those plays either, but if it's a good play it's a crime not to say so. Last week you needed to (at least in my opinion) pay up at QB and RB a little so I'm ok with that. They hit, save for one of my "Guys I also like" Raheem Mostert.

My receivers are where I fell short. I neglected to look into Amari Cooper's home/road splits and it cost us. It's quite fascinating just how bad he is on the road. For example, he has scored a touchdown in every single home game this season. On the road? Zero. Zilch. Nada. Watch him go off this week against Buffalo now that I said that. There's more I could go into with his home/road splits to really show how stark it is, but that's not why you came here is it?

Very quickly, as for the rest of my wideouts, JuJu Smith-Schuster got hurt. Can't help that. The process that led me to play Allen Lazard was sound, but Christian Watson showed up and took all the glory. As I write this TNF has ended and he caught two more TDs so there ya go. Christian Watson WR1. My tight ends hit well, Schultz and Moreau more than paid for their minimum price.

As for this week, I'm willing to pay down at WR to get up to the top running backs of the slate. Just feels like a week where, especially in cash, Saquon Barkley is a must-play. I've mentioned before I'm primarily a cash game player, so that's the primary lens through which I see the slate most weeks. However, I still include tournament plays in this column of course.

Top-tier tight ends have been hard to come by in recent weeks due to game scheduling and injuries. Dallas Goedert is out for a while on IR after taking a hard hit on Monday against the Commanders. Mark Andrews could play, but it’s not looking great. There are several cheap plays at tight end I’ll be targeting this week, so our options aren’t hurting due to injury thankfully.
