Welcome to 2022 NFL Week 3 Thursday Night Football Prop Bets!
This week, the Cleveland Browns host the Pittsburgh Steelers in an AFC North matchup. Draftkings Sportsbook favors Cleveland by 4.5 points and the O/U is set at 38 points. The odds makers obviously not expecting fireworks unlike our last two Thursday night matchups. And I can't say I'm expecting fireworks either, given the state of their offenses.
Both teams lost in Week 2, the Browns (much to my anger, chagrin, and despair) in spectacular fashion. Each team will be looking to right their wrongs in a matchup that could prove vital to a playoff spot given the AFC North's struggles this season.
I think the Browns will win this one, not trying to be a homer here. They should have won on Sunday against the Jets had it not been for an all-time epic collapse (a very Browns thing to do). I think that extra motivation, plus an all-around better roster, gives them the win this week. But if Pittsburgh covers the spread I won't be surprised.
Week 2 Recap
What a game we had last Thursday between the Chargers and the Chiefs! Los Angeles was up and Kansas City predictably rattled off 20 unanswered points. Justin Herbert took a shot to the ribs and was in obvious pain, but came up clutch to put the Chargers within striking distance late in the fourth quarter. The Chiefs would go on to recover the onside kick to win it.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire crushed his prop, snagging four catches for 44 yards. Mike Williams followed suit, following up a disappointing Week 1 with eight catches for 113 yards and a touchdown. I Hope you had him in your DFS lineups!
Finding good value on props is tough in a game with such a low total. The prop lines are well set, however, I still found some props for you. Let's do this!
