2022-23 Fantasy Basketball Weekly Planner

Ladies and gentlemen, fantasy enthusiasts around the world, we are entering the most crucial stage of the season! Week 21 is upon us, signaling the commencement of the fantasy playoffs in many standard leagues. As the stakes rise, so does the importance of navigating through the intricate game schedules. Let the 2023-24 Fantasy Basketball Week 21 Planner guide you to success!

There were many exciting moments during Saturday's NBA games, but none of them could top the dramatic conclusion of the Warriors-Lakers contest. Due to many reviews and clock-related complications, what was meant to be a simple two minutes of game time ended up extending over twenty minutes, creating a situation that verged on the comedic.

While a few teams will only hit the hardwood twice this week, the majority of the NBA is scheduled for three games, offering ample opportunities to boost your fantasy squad. Moreover, for those lucky enough to have players from teams playing four times this week, there are some solid "silly season" options on the table.

It's time to strap in, analyze the matchups, and make those crucial lineup decisions. The fantasy playoffs await, and there's not just glory at stake, but cold, hard cash and bragging rights too!

The Miami Heat will continue to be without Tyler Herro for at least an additional 1-2 weeks.

On Saturday, reports indicated that Herro received a PRP injection in his injured foot. He will be re-evaluated in 1-2 weeks, making his availability uncertain for fantasy playoffs. Duncan Robinson should remain a starter, offering value in standard leagues.

Miami has four games in Week 21, starting with the 76ers on Monday. Caleb Martin, despite coming off the bench, should see increased value. He has played 30 minutes per game over the past two weeks. Jaime Jaquez Jr., a rookie, has also seen an enhanced role recently.

Is it possible that marginal players from the Hornets and Mavericks could be at risk of being cut?

Other players on these teams will see a decrease in fantasy value in leagues with weekly lineups set on Monday. The Mavericks' last game is on Thursday against Utah, affecting the roster percentages of Daniel Gafford and Tim Hardaway Jr. in leagues with daily lineup changes toward the end of the week.

For Charlotte, the impact will be felt most in the middle of the week, with three days between road games against the Magic on Tuesday and the Hawks on Saturday. Vasilije Micic, Grant Williams, and Tre Mann have been key players in the Hornets' rotation, with Micic providing top-100 value in 8-cat formats over the past two weeks. Managers must decide whether to make changes immediately or wait, considering that both teams play four games in Week 22.

Week 21 might pose a challenge for managers who depend on players from the Celtics.

Boston's recent schedule has been packed with back-to-back games. The final game in Week 21 is a Friday/Saturday road trip to Detroit and Chicago, wrapping up a four-game week for them.

Al Horford has not played both games of a back-to-back this season. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are questionable for Sunday's game against the Wizards, while Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick White have been ruled out. This situation could make Sam Hauser and Payton Pritchard viable options.
