Bruno Fernando, C, Atlanta Hawks (13% owned)

Bruno Fernando has been a boon for Fantasy managers in nine-category leagues over his last five outings. Averaging 12.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.0 blocks, he’s been remarkably efficient, shooting 74.3% from the field in just 21.3 minutes per game. His performance during this period is akin to a 14th-round steal.

The Atlanta Hawks offer an ideal schedule for Week 23, uniquely positioned as the only team with four games, notably avoiding the congested Friday and Sunday matchups. Initially, their week begins with a game against the Chicago Bulls on Monday. Subsequently, they face back-to-back challenges against the Detroit Pistons and Dallas Mavericks, leading up to a concluding match against the formidable Denver Nuggets on Saturday.

If your team needs a boost in rebounds, blocks, and field goal percentage, then consider picking up Bruno Fernando for Week 23. Given Onyeka Okongwu's recent setback, Fernando is now poised for increased minutes as Atlanta's backup center. Therefore, seize this opportunity and leverage the Hawks' favorable schedule this week.

Keon Ellis, SG/SF, Sacramento Kings (19% owned)

Keon Ellis has shown flashes of brilliance despite his inconsistency, ranking as a 6th-round value in nine-category leagues over his last four games. He boasts impressive averages of 12.5 points, 2.5 three-pointers, 4.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. His shooting efficiency is notable, with a 52.9% field goal percentage and 80.0% from the free-throw line, all in a significant 31.8 minutes per game.

With Kevin Huerter sidelined for the season and Malik Monk potentially out for several games, Ellis is expected to shoulder more responsibility. Averaging 31.8 minutes per game, Coach Mike Brown will likely rely heavily on him moving forward.

The Sacramento Kings have a packed Week 23, featuring four games. This includes a challenging three-game stretch in four nights, starting Tuesday. They face the Los Angeles Clippers, followed by back-to-back games against the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics, and wrap up the week against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday.

Ellis is typically picked up for his defensive prowess, especially his steals. However, with increased minutes and opportunities on the horizon, we should expect more from him. Be ready for some ups and downs due to inconsistency, but the potential rewards of picking Ellis for Week 23 are enticing.

Jonathan Isaac, SF/PF, Orlando Magic (20% owned)

Jonathan Isaac is back on the fantasy radar, shining as a 5th round gem in 2023. Indeed, we're discussing Jonathan Isaac's fantasy impact once more. Over his last 10 games, he's delivered an average of 10.6 points, 1.8 three-pointers, 5.2 rebounds, 0.8 steals, and 1.5 blocks, all while shooting an impressive 66.1% from the field in only 18 minutes per game. He sat out against the Memphis Grizzlies on the second night of a back-to-back, anticipated due to his load management.

The Orlando Magic have four games scheduled for Week 23, fortunately without any back-to-back matchups. This schedule boosts the likelihood of Isaac participating fully. They kick off the week facing the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, then clash with the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday. Next, they go against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday and wrap up the week with a game against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.

Consider adding Jonathan Isaac for Week 23 if your team needs an uplift in steals, blocks, rebounds, and threes. Remarkably, Isaac has resumed delivering the impactful plays we've grown to anticipate. So, let's secure him on our roster and collectively hope the fantasy gods shield him from any injuries.

Taylor Hendricks, PF, Utah Jazz (14% owned)

Taylor Hendricks has quickly become a staple at the forward position for the Utah Jazz, delivering solid performance in nine-category leagues. Over his recent eight games, he's notched an average of 9.1 points, 1.6 three-pointers, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in 29.7 minutes per game, earning him a ninth-round value.

Week 23 poses a scheduling challenge for the Jazz, who only play three times. They'll tip off against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, then after a brief pause, take on the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday and conclude against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday. The weekend games coincide with busy NBA slates, complicating streaming strategies for fantasy managers.

Hendricks offers a valuable uplift in rebounds and blocks for those of you in deep leagues. With Lauri Markkanen sidelined for the season, the Jazz are doubling down on their youth, increasing Hendricks' playtime and opportunities. Streaming Hendricks in Week 23 might be tricky due to the schedule, but if it fits your lineup strategy, he could be a key asset in your pursuit of fantasy success.
