If your season is still going, it's always a good idea to check the streamer options available. I'm here to give you the Week 12 streamers for the 2023 College Football season.
I hope everyone advanced in their matchups in what was truly a wild and wacky week of college fantasy football.
Every scoring system is different, but no matter how you score your league, there were some truly amazing scores at every position. Quarterbacks Indiana's Brendan Sorsby and Illinois's John Paddock were each 1% rostered going into their team's head-to-head matchup this week. Each of them scored over 40 points!
The real stars of the quarterback position this week were LSU's Jayden Daniels and Oklahoma's Dillon Gabriel. Gabriel accounted for eight touchdowns in his over 70-point fantasy effort! Daniels "only" had five touchdowns, but rushed for 234 including this 85-yard touchdown.
There is no better player in the country than Jayden Daniels.

The quarterback wasn't the only position where there were some incredible efforts. Oregon State running back Damien Martinez finally had some positive touchdown regression as he more than doubled his season total with a four-touchdown game. Someone had to catch all of Dillon Gabriel's touchdowns and the main beneficiary was wide receiver Drake Stoops. Stoops (only 11% rostered) caught fire in recent weeks which culminated yesterday in a 46-point fantasy effort in PPR leagues.
While I'm not sure that any of the recommendations will get you game-winning production, I do feel confident to use them as streamers in what is likely your college fantasy football semifinal matchup.

Payton Thorne, QB, Auburn Tigers
Payton Thorne had the type of performance this past Saturday that I would usually consider to be fool's gold. Thorne was able to throw for three touchdowns on just 12 completions for 163 yards. One thing that is unsustainable is for a quarter of a team's completions to go for a touchdown.
He was also able to rush for an additional 88 yards and a touchdown as Auburn was able to blow out the Arkansas Razorbacks. Thorne is a rushing threat so that is not entirely unexpected. He has rushed for at least 30 yards in the last four games.

So why then am I recommending Thorne as a streamer option this week? The matchup sets up Thorne for success in a more traditional manner. The New Mexico State Aggies travel to Auburn this week to take on the Tigers. New Mexico State has been playing very well with a current record of 8-3. I actually think they will be able to score some on Auburn which will keep the game competitive enough to see Thorne play all four quarters. That should lead to multiple touchdowns for Thorne.
Marion Lukes, RB, Central Michigan Chippewas
Marion Lukes is peaking at just the right time for fantasy teams. Lukes has had three games this season with over 100 total yards. They happen also to be the last three games. During those three weeks, he has also scored three of his four touchdowns this season. Last week, against in-state rival Western Michigan, Lukes took 21 carries and converted those carries into 147 rushing yards and a touchdown.

This week's matchup is against the Ohio Bobcats. That's one of the tougher matchups in the MAC conference. Ohio is allowing under 100 rushing yards per game, ranking in the top 15 nationally amongst all teams. If you play Lukes, you are banking on the volume of touches. As long as Lukes is able to get over 20 touches, as he has in the last two weeks, he should still be able to score enough fantasy points to be usable.
Eugene Wilson, WR, Florida Gators
True freshman Eugene Wilson has been a revelation for the Florida Gators. The Gators have recognized the talent that he has and have made a concerted effort to get him the ball. Since the start of October, Florida has played five SEC games. In those five games, Wilson has been targeted at least eight times in each of those games. Plus, his catch rate on those targets has been excellent. He's seen 49 total targets and has caught 80% of them during that time.

The matchup for the Gators this week is the Missouri Tigers. Missouri's defense looked great this past weekend against the Tennessee Volunteers. However, they still gave up a lot of underneath throws to Squirrel White, Ramel Keyton, and Kaleb Webb. Those are the throws that Florida funnels to Wilson because that is where he thrives. Especially in PPR leagues, Wilson should have a nice game this week.
Dan Villari, TE, Syracuse Orange
Right as the college fantasy football season comes to an end, we may have found a cheat code. This past Saturday, Dan Villari did his best Taysom Hill impression in leading Syracuse to victory over Pittsburgh. Much like Taysom Hill at BYU, Villari's college career started as a quarterback. Villari was a quarterback recruit for Michigan before transferring this offseason to Syracuse and transitioning to tight end.
Saturday was only the second time all season that Villari was held without a catch. Instead of catching any passes, Villari took 17 carries for 154 yards and a touchdown! That usage came out of nowhere as before this game, he had just two rushing attempts all season. He also completed three of five passes, but for just 12 yards.
Dan Villari's 154 yards on the ground is a new program record for rushing yards by a tight end.

Syracuse takes on the Georgia Tech Yellowjackets this week. I'm not sure if Villari will keep being used in the same method this week. But with the shortage of viable tight end options, I'm shooting for the upside of Villari.
Ole Miss Rebels DST
I am recommending a defense that last week would have scored negative points in most scoring formats. Of course, that was against a Georgia Bulldogs football team that hasn't lost a game in close to two full years. Giving up 52 points was a bit more than anyone expected, but plan on a big bounce back this week against a matchup on the other end of the spectrum.
The University of Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks are the opponent of Ole Miss this week. The Warhawks are in the bottom 15 nationally in scoring points. The team is averaging just over 18 points a game. Those offensive struggles have happened against Sun Belt defenses. Ole Miss has an SEC defense that had them as a top-10 national team before the Georgia matchup.
