Welcome to the 2023 Devy Week 3 Stock Up-Stock Down. This article each week will go with my Devy Rankings which are updated every week.
This week in College Football was filled with some explosive plays and high scores.
It seems like every week a QB/WR combo is lighting up the college football scene and this week is no different. Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers but on a clinic in a route against Mississippi State.
Normally this article will contain a few players that have seen their stock drop, but I will wait a week or two before talking about them. Week one can be tricky for these student-athletes so I will wait to see if a trend forms.
Let's get to our Devy Stock Up-Stock Down for the week.

As you can see from the tweet above, Daniels is off to a hot start to his senior season. He has totaled 10 touchdowns on the season, showing of his dual threat athletism.
Mississippi State had no answer for Daniels on Saturday. He was precise through the air, 30/34 for 361 yards with two touchdowns and elusive with his legs, 64 yards and two touchdowns. If Daniels keeps on this pace, and starts to win some big games, Daniels will shoot up the draft boards.

Malik Nabers, WR LSU Tigers, JR
This is the type of game we were waiting for from Nabers.. His full athleticism was on on display against Mississippi State. He was used all over the field exploiting his speed and excellent route running.
Nabers was a favorite of Daniels all day long. He caught 13 passes for 239 yards and two touchdowns. Nabers made a name for himself last year, coming off of a 1,000 yard season. He has all the making of a number one wideout in the NFL and is now the focus of the Tigers offense.
🙌 @UW_Football's Michael Penix Jr. joins the list as just the 4th QB to throw for 400+ yards and 3+ Pass TDs in each of team’s first 3 games 👏 pic.twitter.com/csshFZ9Gaf

Michael Penix Jr. QB, Washington Huskies, SR
Mr. Penix Jr. has entered the Heisman chat!
Penix is a man on a mission this season as he has started the 2023 season absolutely slinging the football. 400+ passing yards, 3+ TDs in each of the first three games of the season is absurd. He leads the NCAA in passing yards with 1,332 yards and his 12 TDs is second among QBs.
He has the frame, 6'3" 213 pounds, the mechanics and leadership skills to be an able body NFL quarterback. After Caleb Williams, the door is wide open to be the second QB off of the board. Penix with his current play as just as much of a chance as anybody to have his name called in the early first round.
