Buy Low Candidates

Tee Higgins, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Higgins has been underwhelming, to say the least. Injuries, inconsistent quarterback play, and miscommunication have prevented Higgins from following up on his top-notch 2022 season. He has only one finish inside the Top 45 this year.

His value will never get any lower, so now is the time to buy. The Bengals offense is too good to scuffle all the time, and Week 8 was a step in the right direction. Higgins will begin to see more opportunities and find the end zone as well.

Isiah Pacheco, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

The entire Chiefs offense was downright miserable in their matchup with the Broncos last Sunday. Pacheco only had 40 yards, but they came on eight carries, an efficient five yards per run. He also saw four targets in the passing game.

With Kansas City playing from behind most of the game, Pacheco ceded time to Jerick McKinnon. In most cases, the game script will be more favorable for the Chiefs' ground game. This is the best and possibly only time to buy low on Pacheco.

Sell Highs

Gus Edwards, RB, Baltimore Ravens

Edwards had himself a day on Sunday, rushing for three touchdowns. He is most definitely the back for games when Baltimore wants to control the clock with a large lead. The Ravens will be facing some tough run defenses over the next several weeks (Seahawks, Browns, 49ers) which should limit the running room for Gus.

Most of these games will be tight, or see the Ravens playing from behind, calling for more time for Justice Hill, the pass-catching back. Edwards is the ultimate sell-high after a massive three-touchdown day.

Tony Pollard, RB, Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys have been getting better as an offense, putting up 43 on the Rams. What may have gone unnoticed is the surprising lack of production by Tony Pollard. Less than 60 total yards of offense in a blowout game!

He only has two touchdowns on the year and is being kept afloat by his receiving stats. I would move on from him if I could. If you can get someone in the range of Jonathan Taylor, I would do it sooner rather than later.
