2023 Fantasy Football Week 11 Players to Stash

I missed you guys! Life has hit hard the past two weeks, which is why I haven't been able to get this column out. It sucks for me because I do enjoy bringing you content every week, especially this article, but sometimes life just hits and you just gotta roll with the punches. But I'm back to give you some 2023 Fantasy Football Week 11 Players to Stash.

What I am trying to do here in this article is give you who I think will be featured in next week's waiver articles here at F6P and abroad a week early. Maybe not a week but you know, before the rush to the waiver wire for the new hotness shows up. I want to give you the new hotness before he makes himself known.

What I want to make clear is that these are stashes not guaranteed plays. Nothing in life is guaranteed. Though I am happy with the success this column has had, with the likes of Tank Dell and Josh Downs mentioned here, I have had misses, such as Sean Tucker and Calvin Austin. It's give and take but if you hit on the cheap and stash a player before the waiver craziness? Oh, it feels so sweet.

Let's get into the Week 10 stashes.

Rico Dowdle, RB, Dallas Cowboys

We're getting towards the time of year when you start to handcuff your starters. Tony Pollard is still the starter in Dallas, but Dowdle is an interesting stash, to say the least. On the season, Dowdle has outperformed Pollard in yards per run and yards per catch basis. Both backs have scored twice this season. He is unlikely to replace Pollard but it's possible he earns a more predictable 12-15 touches per game going forward. Plus he gets Carolina this week so he might get some garbage time points.

It feels like after all the chatter of "get Zeke out and let Pollard cook" we're seeing history repeat itself. Except this time Pollard is Zeke and Dowdle is the new Pollard. I'm sure as soon as Dowdle would be a full-time starter Deuce Vaughn would be the new Dowdle but let's hope we don't go that far.

Michael Carter, RB, Arizona Cardinals

Between Carter, Demarcado, and Ingram, Carter is easily the most talented backup behind James Conner. When Conner is healthy, I expect him to get the majority of the workload. However, should Conner go down with an injury again Carter is, to me, the clear-cut back to roster.

After a promising rookie season, Carter regressed in his second year, partly due to Breece Hall joining the team but his efficiency also dipped. He's back up to 4.8 per carry (granted it's on only eight attempts) in 2023 and gets a fresh start in Arizona. He seems to be a locker-room leader type of guy, so I have hopes for him going forward.

Jayden Reed, WR, Green Bay Packers

Reed is the WR39 on the season in half-PPR formats and yet is rostered in only 25% of leagues. Green Bay is going to find themselves in a lot of pass-friendly situations with an upcoming schedule of the Chargers, Lions, Chiefs, Bucs, and Vikings.

His 1.9 YPPR is the best among Green Bay wide receivers. He's still behind Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson in target share, but unless Watson shows vast improvement soon, Reed could easily overtake him in the pecking order.

That is going to do it for this week's 2023 Fantasy Football Week 10 Players to Stash! Best of luck on Sunday and I'll see you again soon!
