2023 Fantasy Football QB/TE Streamers

Thanksgiving has passed and the late-season byepocalypse is here! I've got some 2023 Fantasy Football Week 13 QB/TE Streamers to help you get through it and make a late-season playoff push!

Before we get into week 13, let's quickly recap last week. Garner Minshew was the QB13 on the week against Tampa. Jake Browning didn't fare as well, finishing the QB18 on the week, had it not been for some lucky bounces on tipped passes, it could have been worse. Cade Otton was the TE16, and Tanner Hudson's magic ended, finishing outside of TE2 territory.

I mentioned at the top that we're closing in on the playoffs, and every victory is precious. With six teams on bye between the Bills, Raiders, Ravens, Vikings, Bears and Giants. Nearly every one of these teams has a star or viable option QB or TE, so finding a capable streamer is paramount. Let's dive in!

Kenny Pickett vs. Arizona Cardinals - 18%

For the first time this season, Kenny Pickett makes an appearance. What's sad is that it's taken this long. But he's just not been up to snuff this season. Regular readers of this column will know I've said it's been a tough year for streaming because of how many quarterback injuries there are. More QB injuries leads to more inconsistent backup play we're forced to rely on. But even then, I just couldn't recommend Pickett. Heck, I had Tommy DeVito (who I didn't know was an NFL player before about week 9 or so) in this column before Pickett!

But the Steelers finally fired Matt Canada. And coincidentally (or not), the Steelers post a 400-yard game. It didn't lead to a lot of scoring, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since it was an AFC North showdown. Pickett completed 73% of his passes and had the ninth-highest passer rating, seventh-best adjusted net yards per attempt, and seventh-best success rate of QBs in week 12. I'm willing to take the jump and stream him against the Cardinals in week 13.

Derek Carr vs. Detroit Lions - 38% Rostered

Carr appeared to be on his way to a great game against the Falcons, and then he lost all of his receivers. Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed both got knocked out. Shaheed is in danger of missing, but Olave has a chance to play. The Lions have allowed the sixth most touchdowns and the sixth most points to quarterbacks on the season. If Olave plays, that opens up the game for other options like Juwan Johnson, A.T. Perry, and Lynn Bowden. Not a set of household names but it would be much more difficult for them to get open for Carr without Olave attracting coverage.

Tight Ends

Hunter Henry vs. Los Angeles Chargers - 21% Rostered

How the mighty have fallen. Henry started the year off hot, with a touchdown in each of the first two weeks. Contrast that start with a goose egg last week. Bailey Zappe is expected to start, and he could look Henry's way against the Chargers with the depleted state of the Patriots receiving corp. Henry's former team allows the fifth most points to the tight-end position in half-PPR scoring, so he could be in for a bounce-back week.

Tyler Conklin vs. Atlanta Falcons - 18% Rostered

Leave it to me to bring up Tyler Conklin. Of course I would, because why not? What I dislike about Conklin is the fact that Tim Boyle is his quarterback. The good news is Atlanta is a great matchup for tight ends. He only managed a 13% target share in Boyle's start against Miami, but if nothing else, he was third on the team in targets behind Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall, which is in line with what we've seen from the trio for most of the year.

That will do it for our 2023 Fantasy Football Week 13 QB/TE Streamers! Thanks for reading and make sure to stop by again next week, best of luck!
