2023 Fantasy Football Week 14 Drop List

Welcome to the 2023 Fantasy Football Week 14 Drop List article.

I'm here to guide you into the right drop decisions. Last week was a failure. Zack Moss was the feature of the drop list (WOOPS!) and now he is a full-time starter with an elite workload. The Jonathan Taylor injury was unexpected.

The Miles Sanders suggestion is a win in my book. On Sunday, Sanders only mustered up 3 FPTS (8-23-0, 2/1-6-0). This now makes it eight straight games under ten FPTS. He has failed to score ten-plus FPTS in 82% of his 2023 games.

Send him to the wire.

In other news, Dameon Pierce was on the bubble in last week's article. On Sunday, Pierce ran the ball 15 times for 41 yards (2.7 YPC is still a concern) and one touchdown (10 FPTS, RB20).

He is safe from the drop list (FOR NOW).

That's enough with the recap of last week's list, let's jump into the 2023 Fantasy Football Week 14 Drop List article.

Logan Thomas, TE, Washington Commanders (61.4%)

This just must be the norm for Logan Thomas. He surprises you for a few weeks (three TE1 finishes) but eventually comes back down to earth. In his last five games, Thomas has zero TE1 finishes. He has failed to reach 10+ FPTS during that time as well.

To make matters worse, he is seeing a decrease in targets (8 to 4 to 1) and snap % (74% to 70% to 64%).

There are limited options on the waiver wire, but taking a risk on Gerald Everett (3 TE1 finishes in fewer games than Logan Thomas) and/or Isaiah Likely (6 targets in their last game). Likely is also tied to an offense that loves to go to the TE position.

Tyler Boyd, WR, Cincinnati Bengals (47.2%)

Currently sitting at WR49, Tyler Boyd can be sent to the waiver wire.

It's now been four straight games without topping 10+ fantasy points for Tyler Boyd. He has been a WR50 or worse in seven games, and there is no end in sight for this run of terrible performances.

With Tee Higgins returning, Jake Browning won't be able to support all of these wideouts. Tyler Boyd looks to be the odd man out.

Michael Gallup, WR, Dallas Cowboys (27.7%)

This is an easy one.

For the most part, Michael Gallup isn't on a bunch of rosters but sitting at 27.7% is still too high.

Since the Week 7 bye (6 games), Gallup has finished as a WR2 once. He has failed to finish higher than WR55 during this time. Gallup has seen three targets or less in five games and six FPTS or less as well. In back-to-back games, Michael Gallup has seen just one target while sporting a sub-50 % snap percentage.

Sam Howell, QB, Washington Commanders (73%)

Yes! I'm suggesting you drop the QB4 in fantasy right now. This has nothing to do with how his performance has been in 2023. He has been a sensational fantasy QB. Sam Howell has put up six straight QB1 finishes (9 of 13 in 2023), 23 total touchdowns (Tied for 7th in NFL), and 3466 yards (2nd in NFL), but has thrown 14 interceptions (most in NFL).

Sam Howell has an absurd playoff schedule. He will have to play the New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers, and Dallas Cowboys in his final three games. All three of those defenses are top-5 in the least points allowed to the QB position.

With that gauntlet of teams coming up, it would be wise to find a different QB. Jordan Love (four straight QB1 finishes) has a soft playoff schedule (TB, MIN, CHI) would be my priority.

That should do it for the 2023 Fantasy Football Week 14 Drop List.
