2023 Fantasy Football QB/TE Streamers

It's the first week of the Fantasy playoffs for many leagues out there! Did you make it? Did you secure the bye week?

Great! That means this article isn't relevant for you!

Ok, it actually kind of is because you should still keep tabs on things that go on in the NFL leading up to your next matchup. So there. It does apply.

For those fighting to stay in the playoffs, I have a few 2023 Fantasy Football Week 15 QB/TE Streamers to help you make it to the next round!

Before we get into Week 15, let's quickly recap last week.

  • Desmond Ridder came through for me! Wish I had followed my own advice when I built DFS lineups! Granted that's much different that season long but still. He was the QB2 on the week and I feel pumped about that.
  • Joshua Dobbs? Not so much. He got benched in what ended up being a 3-0 win by the Vikings over the Raiders. The same Raiders who put up 63 points on Thursday night. I guess his Cinderella story is over.
  • Gerald Everett caught 5 passes for 39 yards. Not a great showing as the TE22 but it's about in line with almost every other tight end. If you don't catch a touchdown, you're not in for a top week.
  • Tanner Hudson caught a touchdown and finished as a TE1, so I'll gladly take that.

So a stinker, a "meh" and two good performances. Not bad for streaming, which is known for its ups and downs. Playing the matchup is the biggest thing, and especially now with the Fantasy playoffs going on!

Joe Flacco vs. Chicago Bears - 16% Rostered

Joe Flacco has come out of nowhere to competently lead the Browns. The unfortunate part of his signing with the Browns is we will never know how Dorian Thompson-Robinson could become, but on the bright side, it means for Fantasy we have a quarterback we can trust enough to stream. The Bears are not a matchup to fear despite what they did to Jared Goff last week. They've given up the third most passing touchdowns this season but they are also very good at causing turnovers. Flacco has thrown two interceptions in his two games but a 5-2 TD/INT ratio is manageable.

Jake Browning vs. Minnesota Vikings - 41% Rostered

I guess I'm taking AFC North QBs over their NFC North opponents this week. Browning has played extremely well since taking over for Joe Burrow and has put his name in the ring as one of the better backups in the NFL, at least he has to me. Since week 12, he's led the NFL with a 79% completion percentage. That's just wild. He's scoring through passing and on the ground with two rushing scores. I don't think the Vikings are going to shut out an opponent once again, and they are towards the middle of the pack in points allowed to QBs.

Tight Ends

Cade Otton vs. Green Bay Packers - 31% Rostered

Otton just seems to float right around the mid to high TE2 range this season. He usually won't win you a week, except for when I didn't start him that time in my dynasty league where he went off against Houston, but he won't (usually) lose you the week either. Except for when I started him in my dynasty league when he went against Carolina where he put up a zero. I won despite that. Anyway, Green Bay is a fine matchup for tight ends and Otton has averaged nearly five targets a game even when factoring in his outlier zero-target game against Carolina.

Tucker Kraft vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 7% Rostered

On the other side of the field from Otton, I also like Tucker Kraft. Since taking over for Luke Musgrave as the Packers starting tight end, he's finished as the TE9, 20, and 16 in half-PPR. His most recent performance saw him catch all four of his targets for 64 yards against the Giants on Monday Night Football. Tampa has given up the seventh most receptions and yards to tight ends in the league in 2023 and tied with the third most targets allowed to the position. As he's gotten more run in the offense, Jordan Love has trusted him more and more, giving me confidence to start him this week.

That will do it for our 2023 Fantasy Football Week 15 QB/TE Streamers! Thanks for reading and best of luck with your matchups this week! A lot is at stake!
