Are you ready to rumble?! It's Fantasy Football Playoff time! Most of the leagues are just spectators looking on, but there are those of you who are one win away from making the championship game. Not only that, it's Christmas weekend, Merry Christmas to all!

To stay with the Christmas theme kinda sorta, I'm bringing a few 2023 Fantasy Football Week 16 QB/TE Streamers to help you feast on your opponents!

Before we get into Week 16, let's quickly recap last week:

  • Our quarterbacks were a hit last week, with Jake Browning and Joe Flacco both finishing as top 10 QBs at QB8 and QB9 respectively.
  • Cade Otton didn't have a good game. If I wanted to take a positive spin on it, I could say he scored more points than Travis Kelce in half-PPR scoring. But barely finishing as a TE2 sounds a lot worse.
  • Tucker Kraft finished the week as the overall TE6 in half-PPR, catching four passes for 57 yards and a touchdown.

So a stinker, a "meh" and two good performances. Not bad for streaming, which is known for its ups and downs. Playing the matchup is the biggest thing, and especially now with the Fantasy playoffs going on!

Ryan Tannehill vs. Seattle Seahawks - 2% Rostered

There's a name we haven't seen in a while. Tannehill gets the start this week with rookie Will Levis out with a concussion. Even before his benching, Tannehill admittedly wasn't that great, but he performed better at home than on the road overall. And now he faces Seattle at home who are a top 12 matchup for quarterbacks. Deandre Hopkins and Treylon Burks should both be out there, plus Derrick Henry and Chig Okonkwo. The gang is back together. Maybe this lights a fire under Tannehill and he performs well in his return to starter status.

Jake Browning vs. Minnesota Vikings - 46% Rostered

I can't stop writing about Jake Browning. His roster percentage went up a tad between last week and now, but he's still been one of the best quarterbacks since taking over the starting gig from Joe Burrow. In fact, of quarterbacks with more than 50 attempts, he has the highest completion percentage in the NFL. Using that 50-attempt threshold once again, his yards per attempt trails only Brock Purdy. He wasn't great against the Steelers in their first meeting, but that's not to say he was bad. He completed 19 of his 26 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown with one pick. With some experience under his belt and Pittsburgh reeling, Browning could be in for a nice week.

Honorable Mentions: Gardner Minshew vs. Atlanta, Joe Flacco vs. Houston, Tommy DeVito vs. Philadelphia.

Tight Ends

Hunter Henry vs. Denver Broncos - 28% Rostered

Look, I get it, he's been scoring a lot of touchdowns. But that's not a bad thing, right? Henry has become a favorite of Bailey Zappe and with the lack of talent on the Patriots roster surrounding Henry, there are worse places to take a shot. Denver has allowed the most touchdowns and second-most receiving yards to the tight end position.

Cade Otton vs. Jacksonville Jaguars - 32% Rostered

Otton is more of a deeper league play, but he's still a play nonetheless. Jacksonville gives up the fifth most points to the tight end position and the Buccaneers are fighting for a playoff spot. The NFC South is wide open and they will look to capitalize on the Saints' loss and the Falcons' struggles. He doesn't have a high target share but he's out there for nearly every offensive snap so the opportunity is there at least.

That will do it for our 2023 Fantasy Football Week 16 QB/TE Streamers! Best of luck and may you advance to the championship round! And Merry Christmas!
