Linebackers to Start

Isaiah McDuffie, Green Bay Packers

Isaiah McDuffie has come out of virtually nowhere this season and is climbing to the top, fast. After haphazard usage in 2022, McDuffie has found a place for himself on the Green Bay defense. Appearing in 51.80% of defensive snaps so far this season, McDuffie has hit good form and should have another good outing against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11.

In his last four games, McDuffie has churned out thirty-seven tackles against teams that have relied on the run. With Ekeler on the field there is always going to be opportunities for opposition linebackers and this should work in McDuffie's favor.

Elandon Roberts, Pittsburgh Steelers

This is a nice easy one. With Cole Holcomb on IR and Kwon Alexander joining him this week, Elandon Roberts stands to take the workload of two absent linebackers in Week 11. Facing off against the Cleveland Browns, who are without DeShaun Watson, Roberts should have a big day against a team that will try to run the ball as much as possible.

Linebackers to Sit

Christian Harris, Houston Texans

Christian Harris has had a lacklustre season so far. Going into the season, Harris shook off competition from veterans such as Denzel Perryman and even forced Christian Kirksey into retirement (not literally). As soon as the season kicked off, that energy level seemed to have dropped off and Harris has found himself working behind Perryman, Blake Cashman and Henry To'o To'o.

This week the Texans will be up against the Arizona Cardinals who have been rejuvenated by the return of Kyler Murray. While the run game figures to play a part of Arizona's offense in Week 11, Harris might not necessarily be on the field to put in the stops.

Defensive Linemen to Start

BJ Ojulari, Arizona Cardinals

BJ Ojulari had himself a day in Week 10. After appearing in rotation up until last week, Ojulari made the most of his playing time and turning it into eight tackles and two sacks against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Cardinals will be playing the Houston Texans this week who have been super protective of the quarterback. Ojulari stands to focus more on run-blocking this week against either of Devin Singletary or Dameon Pierce. Singletary rushed thirty (yes, that's right!) times in Week 10 against the Cincinnati Bengals, meaning that if the trend continues Ojulari should get a lot of work in the hole.

Travon Walker, Jacksonville Jaguars

Travon Walker has has an up and down season, there is no two ways about it. As the clear starter opposite Josh Allen, Walker should have a relatively easy job as opposition offensive lines try to deal with Allen and that hasn't always been the case. This is partly down to tough opposition but also inconsistency on Walker's part.

In Week 11 against the Tennessee Titans, Walker has the opportunity to set the record straight and will likely do so against a depleted offensive line. Walker has already matched his 2022 3.5 sack tally this season and will hope to add another on Sunday.

Defensive Linemen to Sit

Za'Darius Smith, Cleveland Browns

I have always had a soft spot for Smith after he helped me with a championship in 2019 but, this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Smith stands to have a really tough time. Similarly to Travon Walker, Smith should have an easy job working the opposite side of Myles Garrett and that isn't always the case. In Week 2 against the Steelers Za'Darius had a very quiet game with just the one tackle and that figures to be a repeat in Week 11.

Defensive Backs to Start

Tavierre Thomas, Houston Texans

Tavierre Thomas has slowly become one of the most in-form defensive backs in the league, picking up twenty-three tackles and a forced fumble in the process. Originally standing in for several injured players in the Texans secondary but after dealing with his own injuries has made the most of his second chance. Whereas Christian Harris will likely have a down-game, Tavierre Thomas should have a fun day out against the Cardinals.

DaRon Bland, Dallas Cowboys

Bland made another interception in Week 10, taking his total to five for the season. In Week 11, the Cowboys will be up against a very poor Carolina Panthers team and a quarterback who threw blanks in Week 10 and three interception passes in Week 9. Bland also has the capacity to get involved in the action and has come up with three defensive touchdowns this season so far. The second year cornerback out of Fresno State should have a nice game, with potential upside if he can pick off Young.

Quandre Diggs, Seattle Seahawks

Quandre Diggs is someone you don't see mentioned in fantasy football articles because he usually churns out solid production and manages to remain under the radar. Playing the Los Angeles Rams for the second time this season, Diggs should have a quiet game against Carson Wentz who will be taking hits from the Seahawks defensive line before Wentz has a chance to throw the ball. Sit Diggs this week.
