Welcome to our final 2023 NBA Mock Draft (assuming no big trades occur between now and Thursday night)!
Draft Day Update! Overnight, the Washington Wizards, Boston Celtics and Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to a three-team trade, sending Kristaps Porzingis to the Celtics (along with two 1sts, including the 25th overall pick tonight), Marcus Smart to the Grizzlies and Tyus Jones to the Wizards! Greyson shared his thoughts on the impact of this deal.

Since our previous update, the Washington Wizards traded Bradley Beal to the Phoenix Suns for Chris Paul and other stuff. Michael Gorman already broke down the potential impact of that trade, but I find it hard to believe CP3 actually plays a game for the Wizards this season. There are Championship-ready teams that should be willing to move pieces to acquire the veteran point guard.
UPDATE! And just like that, the Wizards have in fact traded Chris Paul to the Golden State Warriors for Jordan Poole!
Draymond Green (Warriors) and Fred VanVleet (Raptors) have opted out of their contracts.
We anticipate Victor Wembanyama will call San Antonio home as the Spurs won the NBA Lottery and the privilege to select the next big Superstar to enter the Association. Wembanyama will join a young nucleus of talent in San Antonio with guys like Keldon Johnson, Devin Vassell, Jeremy Sochan, Tre Jones and Malaki Branham.
The Detroit Pistons finished with the worst record in the league but fell all the way down to the fifth spot in the 2023 NBA Draft. They have been doing a great job adding young talent to their roster over the past few years with Cade Cunningham (returning from injury), Jaden Ivey, Jalen Duren, James Wiseman and Marvin Bagley III who is only 24 years old, despite being drafted all the way back in 2018!
The Indiana Pacers and Utah Jazz each have three first-round picks! The Pacers added two picks while trading Caris LeVert and Malcolm Brogdon. The Utah Jazz picked up two extra first-rounders on the backs of the Rudy Gobert and Royce O'Neale trades.
The Houston Rockets, Charlotte Hornets, Portland Trail Blazers and Brooklyn Nets will each pick twice in the first round. The Hornets have a tough decision with the second pick - Scoot Henderson or Brandon Miller? The Blazers could shake up the entire draft if they decide to trade the third pick in search of veteran help for Damian Lillard!
The "mystery man" route to the NBA did not work out so well for Bobi Klintman. He and his agent pulled his name from the draft too late and he is now ineligible to return to Wake Forest.Â
The 2023 NBA Draft takes place on Thursday, June 22nd in Brooklyn.
