Last week this article included the highest QB/WR combination possible for DFS in Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen. I hope to repeat that feat in my 2023 NFL DFS Stacks Week 3 piece.
Be sure to monitor this week weather in the northeast that could impact three games - the Patriots vs Jets, Colts vs Ravens, and the Commanders vs Bills. The forecast is calling for significant rainfall and winds gusting in the 30-45 mph range. There is a chance this weather has moved through the northeast before kickoff on Sunday, but if it doesn't you will want to avoid QB/WR combos in these games. If the weather mentioned above is that way on Sunday I would recommend looking at the defenses in these games as potential options for DFS.

Lamar Jackson (DK $7,700/FD $8,200)
Zay Flowers (DK $5,400/FD $6,300)
vs Indianapolis Colts
Percentage of lineup salary (DraftKings 26%) (FanDuel 24%)
1. Lamar Jackson passes up/misses a deep post opportunity to Zay Flowers. Flowers came back and told him, "Bro, trust me, throw it."
2. Got another chance in the 3rd quarter. This time, a 52-yard bomb.

I was very high on Lamar Jackson this summer heading into the 2023 Fantasy Football season. The main reason I was so high on Lamar was Todd Monken being brought in as the Ravens offensive coordinator. In his final two seasons at UGA Monken made Stetson Bennett a Heisman trophy finalist and was a big part of the bulldogs winning back to back national titles. (Go Dawgs!)
Lamar Jackson arguably the biggest unicorn in the NFL was just given a great play caller and the best receiving weapons of his young career. The Ravens are well aware of the talent they have in rookie receiver Zay Flowers. The rookie has seen a 28% target share thus far this season and has hit double figures in both games on DraftKings.
If the rain and high winds predicted for the northeast this weekend doesn't make its way to Sunday, the Ravens will face a Colts team that is arguably the worst in the league versus the pass thru two games. The Colts have played the Jaguars and the Texans this season and those teams wide receivers have feasted to the tune of 37 receptions for 501 yards and four touchdowns. Weather permitting I expect Lamar and Flowers to torch the Colts secondary on Sunday and feel there is great value in this pair at their price against a secondary that hasn't stopped anyone this year.
