2023 NFL DFS Stacks Week 7

2023 NFL DFS Week 7 Stacks

Let me start my 2023 NFL DFS Stacks Week 7 article by apologizing for not publishing a Week 6 DFS Stacks article last week. Full disclosure I went to the Cherokee Casino in North Carolina with my dad and one of my best friends. We had entirely too much fun and I was not in the headspace to give my readers the info/stats they deserve!

If you listened to me and @joeematz on the F6P DFS Kickoff Show last week we still provided plenty of DFS boom plays for last week. Of the 18 plays me and Joe gave for DraftKings at $6,900 or lower in price they included four of the top-5 players in points scored in that price range.

This week we will help you navigate a tough DFS slate due to four teams being on a bye and there only being 10 games to select players from in the main DFS slate. Be sure to go to Fantasy Six Pack's YouTube channel to check out both me and Joe on the F6P DFS Kickoff show as well as the DFS Den show with Chris Robin (@DetroitBeastie) and Dave Eddy (@CorporalEddy). There is no better free DFS advice you can find anywhere!

Be sure to keep up with all my content and plays. You can find me on Twitter @KeithFlemming where I love talking DFS with my followers. I am also on the Inside Drive on ESPN NW Florida Radio at 12 pm central time every Wednesday talking DFS football. Finally, you can find me on the Fantasy Six Pack YouTube Channel every Thursday night with Joe Matz, where we do a live NFL DFS show leading up to the TNF game, talking our favorite median and bargain tier plays for the upcoming week of NFL action!

Lamar Jackson (DK $7,600/FD $8,000)
Mark Andrews (DK $5,700/FD $6,900)
vs Detroit Lions

Percentage of lineup salary (DraftKings 26%) (FanDuel 25%)

Lamar Jackson is carrying the Baltimore Ravens this season in their new Todd Monken offense. He's scored 18 fantasy points or more in four of his last five games. As you can see in the interview above he feels comfortable in this new offense and I think the Ravens offense will only improve as the season rolls on.

This week they face the Detroit Lions whose defense has been really impressive this season. Especially versus the run where the Lions have allowed the least amount of rushing yards in the league and are only allowing 3.3 yards per carry to opposing running backs. Detroit's one weakness versus the run could be stopping rushing quarterbacks as they allowed Patrick Mahomes to rush for over 40 yards in Week 1.

The main reason I like stacking Lamar Jackson with Mark Andrews is the fact the Lions play zone defense at the 6th highest rate in the NFL. This season Lamar has seen zone coverage on nearly 70% of his dropbacks while averaging 9.3 yards per attempt versus them which is 3rd best in the league this season.

Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews are being targeted at over 50% in the passing game this year versus zone defenses and both players are averaging over 2.38 yards per route run versus that defense. Why I prefer stacking Andrews more than Flowers with Lamar is the Lions are 28th on FanDuel and 29th on DraftKings versus tight ends in DFS this season.
