I will dive into my 2023 NFL DFS Week 11 Value Picks in just a minute. I wanted to first discuss why I've pivoted to doing more DFS Fantasy entries rather than traditional fantasy football leagues. Traditional fantasy football leagues are harder to win than ever before with all the great information fantasy users have at their fingertips with sites like Fantasy Six Pack.
Not to mention the difficulty of dealing with the plethora of injuries fantasy owners deal with on a weekly basis. The waiver wire is almost as important as the draft. This season players like De'Von Achane, Puka Nacua and Trey McBride have become fantasy supernovas due to injuries.
This is exactly why I love DFS so much and prefer it over traditional fantasy leagues. Injuries can sink you for a week on DFS but you can start all over the following week. The best part of DFS is you can have any player you want in fantasy if you are willing to pay their salary for that week.

Sam Howell, QB, Commanders vs Giants
($6.3k DK, $7.7k FD)
Sam Howell leads the NFL in passing yards with 2,784. He’s 5th in TD passes with 17, and has the most big-time throws (24) per @PFF.

Sam Howell has been one of the biggest fantasy surprises during the 2023 season. Yes, Howell takes too many sacks and that prevents the Commanders from winning more games than they have this year. Luckily we don't have to worry about that when entering Howell in our DFS lineups and Howell continues to be a real value every week in DFS.
My man Dave Eddy from the DFS Den constantly talks about volume being king in DFS cash games. Sam Howell is the volume king at quarterback in DFS. He's thrown it 41 times or more in six of his last seven games. On top of all the pass attempts, Howell is not afraid to use his legs either. Howell has rushed for 15 yards or more in six of his last eight games.
Volume alone is not enough reason to justify using a player in DFS. The player needs to produce with said volume and Howell definitely does that. In his last seven games, Howell is averaging 23.2 points per game on DraftKings. He's thrown three or more passing touchdowns in three of his last five games.
Since Week 8 on DraftKings, he's finished no worse than 7th for the week at the QB position with two top-3 finishes in that span. This week Howell is facing a Giants secondary that allowed 472 passing yards and four touchdowns to the Dallas Cowboys.
