2023 NFL DFS Week 12 Stacks

Last week this article included Brock Purdy, George Kittle, and Brandon Aiyuk as my double stack with those players combining for 82.22 points on DraftKings. Despite a severe food hangover from eating to much on Thanksgiving I hope to provide more DFS Stacks this week that can win you money with my 2023 NFL DFS Week 12 Stacks plays.

Be sure to keep up with all my content and plays. You can find me on Twitter @KeithFlemming where I love talking DFS with my followers.

Desmond Ridder (DK $4,800/FD $6,600)
Kyle Pitts (DK $4,000/FD $5,300)
vs New Orleans Saints

Percentage of lineup salary (DraftKings 17.6%) (FanDuel 19.8%)

This season in home games, Desmond Ridder is averaging 20.65 points per game. He’s scored 22.1 points or more in his last three home games started.

The main reason I’m using Ridder for my QB single stack is his price combined with how often he scores 20+ points. Another factor is the Saints struggle with rushing quarterbacks.

Ridder has rushed for 150 yards and four touchdowns over his seven and a half games this season. The Saints have allowed 34 yards or more on the ground to opposing QBs in half of their 10 games. They’ve allowed 176 yards rushing to QBs in their last four games.

I’m stacking Kyle Pitts with Ridder because he’s considerably cheaper than Drake London this week and the fact the Saints have more issues with TEs than they do WRs in fantasy. The Saints are 20th on FanDuel versus TEs and 28th vs TEs on DraftKings.

Gardner Minshew (DK $5,100/FD $6,700)
Josh Downs (DK $4,800/FD $5,900)
Michael Pittman Jr. (DK $6,800/FD $7,600)
vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Percentage of lineup salary (DraftKings 33.4%) (FanDuel 32.8%)

The Bucs versus Colts was very close to being the game I used for my game stack. Ultimately I went with another matchup, but I have too good of a feeling about Gardner Minshew and his two favorite pass catchers this week to not include them in any of my stacks.

The Colts offense limped into the bye with two very bad offensive performances. I believe a big reason for this is the fact Josh Downs has been banged up dealing with a knee injury causing him to play limited snaps.

In games Downs plays 70% or more snaps with Minshew at QB the Colts are averaging 26.75 points per game. That number drops to 18.5 points per game in Minshew starts that Downs plays less than 70% of the snaps.

Minshew’s passing numbers are affected by Downs playing limited snaps as well. He’s averaging 160.5 passing yards per game with Downs playing less than 70% of the offensive plays and Minshew is averaging 268.5 passing yards with Downs on the field over that 70% number.

Tampa Bay has a really bad pass passing defense. They particularly struggle with slot receivers as the Bucs give up the most fantasy points in the NFL to wide receivers lined up there. Josh Down is 4th among wide receivers in snaps from the slot lining up there 75% of the time.

The inclusion of Michael Pittman as the other player in this stack stems from how much Tampa Bay blitzes(3rd highest rate). When Gardner Minshew is blitzed by the opposing defense Michael Pittman Jr. has a 42% target share.

Game Stack - Cardinals @ Rams

Kyler Murray (DK $6,900/FD $8,000)
Trey McBride (DK $4,700/FD $6,100)
Greg Dortch (DK $3,300/FD $4,800)                                                                                                                            Kyren Williams (DK $6,600/FD $8,200)

Percentage of lineup salary (DraftKings 43%) (FanDuel 45.2%)

The Cardinals and Rams matchup this week has the third-highest over/under total of the NFL's Sunday main slate. My reasoning for using this matchup as my game stack is that it features a few of the best values in the entire DFS slate Sunday.

If you've been following my work recently you're well aware of how good of a fantasy football QB Murray is. Murray has scored 20 points or more in fantasy in over half of his career starts and he's rushed for 20 yards or more in 42 of 59 games played.

I am including two pass catchers from the Cardinals, Trey McBride and Greg Dortch, to this stack.

McBride is seeing a 28% target share since the Zach Ertz injury. Michael Wilson will not play again this Sunday and there is a chance Marquise Brown also won't play. Dortch saw eight targets last week in the absence of Michael Wilson.

The best value in DFS this week is the other player I am including in this stack, Kyren Williams for the Rams. This season among RBs, Williams ranks first in snap share, first in dominator rating, fourth in fantasy points per game, second in route participation, and 14th in red zone touches despite only playing six games.

Kyren Williams has been a top-10 running back for the week in four of the six games he's played this year, top-3 in half of them. Coach McVay said Williams would handle his normal workload in his first action since being placed on IR. I feel very good about this game stack's potential and the flexibility it gives you due to how much salary it leaves you for the rest of your lineup.
