2023 NFL DFS Week 14 Stacks

2023 NFL DFS Week 14 Stacks

Unfortunately, I was unable to provide a DFS Stacks article last week due to filling in for Chris Robin (@DetroitBeastie) on the DFS Den Show. I hope to repeat my success from Week 12 with my 2023 NFL DFS Week 14 Stacks article.

The game stack lineup I provided from Week 12 scored 85.50 points on DraftKings while only accounting for 41.8% of your lineup's salary. Hopefully, I can pick up right where I left off in Week 12 by providing you with some great DFS stacks for Week 14.

Be sure to check the weather before finalizing your Fantasy Football or DFS lineups this week. We've reached the time of year when bad weather can significantly impact games. I am listing below the five games where unless something changes weather could be an issue for these games.

  • Rams @ Ravens: potential rain, 20+ mph winds, temps in low 40s
  • Lions @ Bears: potential rain, 20+ mph winds, temps in mid 40s
  • Colts @ Bengals: potential rain, 20+ mph winds, temps in low 40s
  • Jags @ Browns: potential rain, 25+ mph winds, temps in mid 30s
  • Texans @ Jets: potential rain, 20+ mph winds, temps in high 30s

Be sure to keep up with all my content and plays. You can find me on Twitter @KeithFlemming where I love talking DFS with my followers.

I am also on the Inside Drive on ESPN NW Florida Radio at noon central time every Wednesday talking DFS football.

Finally, you can find me on the Fantasy Six Pack YouTube Channel every Thursday night with Joe Matz (@JoeEMatz), where we do a live NFL DFS show leading up to the TNF game, talking about our favorite median and bargain tier plays for the upcoming week of NFL action!

Justin Fields (DK $6,800/FD $7,900)
DJ Moore (DK $6,600/FD $7,700)
vs Detroit Lions

Percentage of lineup salary (DraftKings 26.8%) (FanDuel 26%)

I am starting with a stack that is more expensive than I normally provide for a QB/WR. The pair of Fields and Moore has both a high floor and a high ceiling.

This game is one of the five with potentially awful weather. The forecast is calling for very strong winds, cold temps, and a decent chance of rain. Thanks to Justin Fields ability to run I am not worried if this is a game in which passing yards are hard to come by.

In his last four games, Fields has rushed for 245 yards on the ground. Fields has rushed for 321 rushing yards in his last three matchups with the Lions and a rushing touchdown.

The reason I'm stacking Fields with Moore despite the weather making passing difficult is the numbers Fields and Moore have put together in their last four full games played.

DJ Moore's averages in his last four full games with Fields at QB:

  • 10.25 Targets
  • 8.5 Receptions
  • 142.7 Receiving Yards
  • 32.53 ppg on DraftKings
  • 26.02 ppg on FanDuel

Moore and Fields face a Lions defense that allowed 30+ points to their opponent in four straight games. In that span number one WRs facing the Lions have caught 25 passes for 484 yards and nine touchdowns.

Russell Wilson (DK $5,800/FD $7,400)
Courtland Sutton (DK $6,100/FD $7,200)
Javonte Williams (DK $5,800/FD $6,600)
vs Los Angeles Chargers

Percentage of lineup salary (DraftKings 35.4%) (FanDuel 35.3%)

I like the double stack this week because I believe it will be low-owned and the Broncos are facing one of the worst defenses in the league in the LA Chargers.

Russell Wilson has been one of the more consistent QBs in fantasy/DFS this season. He's scored 17.8 points or more on DraftKings in four of his last five games. Wilson is using his legs lately with 240 rushing yards in his last eight games and a rushing touchdown in two straight.

I am including Javonte Williams in this stack partly because the Chargers are 22nd against the run and partly due to his role in the Broncos passing game. Williams has caught three or more passes in five of his last six games. In that span, he is averaging 6.4 points per game on DraftKings in the passing game.

I am rounding out this stack with Broncos unquestioned number-one receiver Courtland Sutton. Sutton has scored double-digit points on DK in six of his last seven games. In that span, he is averaging 14.97 points per game.

The Chargers are 27th on DraftKings versus WRs and Sutton has caught a passing touchdown in six of his last seven games. He has 9 receiving touchdowns on the season having scored in nine of the Broncos twelve games. I like Sutton's upside versus a bad secondary with him seeing over seven targets per game over his last four.

Game Stack - Vikings @ Raiders

Joshua Dobbs (DK $5,900/FD $7,300)
Justin Jefferson (DK $8,500/FD $9,000)
Davante Adams (DK $7,500/FD $7,400)                                                                                                      Michael Mayer (DK $2,900/FD $4,900)

Percentage of lineup salary (DraftKings 49.6%) (FanDuel 47.6%)

There are two reasons I am using the Vikings @ Raiders for my DFS game stack this week. Justin Jefferson and Davante Adams are priced considerably lower than normal on both DFS sites. The other reason is in a week where there are so many potential bad weather games the Vikings versus the Raiders will take place in a dome.

This week on DraftKings Justin Jefferson is $300 cheaper than he's been at any other time this season on DK. Davante Adams has only been priced this low on DK once this season and in that game, he scored 45.2 points versus the Steelers.

The reasoning for both elite WRs being priced so low is simple. Jefferson is returning from IR and hasn't played a game since Week 5. Adams is catching passes from rookie Aidan O'Connell, but both receivers have all-world talent and I will happily take them in MME events at their price this week.

Joshua Dobbs being included is partly due to his price but mostly because of his rushing upside and high floor. Dobbs has eclipsed 40 rushing yards seven times this season with six touchdowns on the ground. This is why Dobbs is averaging 17.8 points per game on DraftKings and 17.17 per on FanDuel.

I am rounding out this game stack with Raiders tight end Michael Mayer. Mayer saw two targets in his first two games with O'Connell as the starter. He's seen 14 targets in the last three with at least four targets in each of those games.

I expect this game to be a shootout with the Vikings getting a lead early. This will force the Raiders to throw the ball and with the Vikings inability to run the ball, I could easily see both QBs throwing it 35+ times.
