Desmond Ridder was benched at halftime in Tennessee last weekend. The Falcons have decided to go with Taylor Heiniecke again this week versus the Minnesota Vikings.
The Falcons are loaded with offensive weapons most QBs would kill to have at their disposal. I’ve defended Ridder as much as I can this year. But the fact he’s turned the ball over 7 times in his last ten quarters played was too detrimental to not make a change at QB.
I’m bullish on Heinecke because despite Ridder’s turnovers and there were a lot of them. The now-benched Ridder scored 16.8 pts or more on DK in 4 of his last 6 games played. With Heinicke scoring 12.4 pts in one half of action versus the Titans on Sunday.
Another option: Bryce Young ($5.1k DK, $6.9k FD)
