2023 Fantasy Football QB/TE Streamers

After missing a last week due to a much-needed weekend getaway with the wife, I'm back! Maybe a blessing for some, not for others, who knows. I'm just happy to be back at it giving you some 2023 NFL Fantasy Football Week 4 QB/TE Streamers!

Daniel did a great job filling in for me last week, whose picks did better than my own. Great endorsement of myself right?! I didn't see the Adam Thielen show coming, leaving Hayden Hurst with a single catch. Baker struggled but had surprisingly few amount of passing attempts given the negative game script. Such is the life of streaming.

I've got some guys who I think are in for a decent week. Smash spots for waiver guys are few and far between this week, but potentially usable performances can still be found. So let's dive in!

C.J. Stroud vs. PIT - 31.7% Rostered

Pittsburgh is admittedly a little scary to stream against, but the streaming options are a little thin, so here we are.

Stroud has been impressive since the start of the season. He's the only QB since 1970 to throw for over 900 yards without a pick during the first three games of a career. In fact, he's only the second QB to achieve no INTs while passing over 800 yards (Case Keenum is the other).

Pittsburgh can be beaten through the air, and the Texans have a pair of promising young pass catchers in Nico Collins and Tank Dell. Their pass rush could be a problem, but as long as the offensive line holds, Stroud could make it an interesting game.

Jameis Winston vs. TB - 1.6% Rostered

Winston was 10-of-16 passing for 101 yards without a touchdown in the Saints' loss to the Packers on Sunday. While that’s not a resounding result, I think with a week to prepare against a weak pass defense Jameis could be a value this Sunday.

Tampa is middle of the pack against QBs and plus, we have a revenge game going on!

Tight Ends

Jake Ferguson vs NE - 34.1% Rostered

Ferguson hasn’t met my expectations for him entering the year, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a solid streamer. New England's defense has been among the best in the NFL through three weeks, allowing only seven receptions to tight ends in 2023. But, Dallas Goedert was a goose egg in week 1 but has since been fine. The Dolphins have Durham Smythe, who put up five PPR points against them.

Then they played the Jets who have no quarterback or passing offense. So I'm not sure if it's a matter of "they haven't played anybody" or if they are actually good against the position. This week we'll find out.

In the meantime, Ferguson has shown himself to be a fine play for a barren tight end landscape.

Logan Thomas vs PHI - 4.2% Rostered

This is assuming Thomas plays, but I think he’s in a great spot this week. Sam Howell has liked his tight end in the two games they’ve played together this year, and I don’t see that stopping. Philadelphia has allowed the second most points to the tight end position in the NFL.

The Commanders will probably be playing from behind, giving Thomas plenty of opportunity to rack up receptions and potentially a touchdown.
