2023 Fantasy Football QB/TE Streamers

I'm back again bringing you some 2023 NFL Fantasy Football Week 5 QB/TE Streamers to help you shore up your lineup and bring home the bacon!

Last week, we hit really well. I made an assumption that Jameis Winston would start given the injury to Derek Carr, but lo-and-behold, Carr started. Stroud continued his insane run of play. Jake Ferguson was the TE4 in PPR formats. Logan Thomas wasn't so hot, managing only TE22 overall but you can do worse than 3 for 41.

It's a tough week for streamers this week, but I'm going to do my absolute best to bring you some guys who can put together a solid week for you if you're trying to get through a bye-week or struggling with an injury to your QB (cough, Joe Burrow, cough!). Let's get to it!

Joshua Dobbs vs. CIN - 18.8% Rostered

After a game to forget against Washington in week 1, Joshua Dobbs is the QB6 from weeks 2-4. This week he gets a Cincinnati defense that let a struggling Ryan Tannehill complete 18-of-25 passes for 240 yards and a score. It's not a sexy play, but he has weapons at his disposal between Hollywood Brown, Michael Wilson, Zach Ertz, and James Conner. He's been good against pressure (for what it's worth, Cincy is having trouble bringing any), and he's been good in the red-zone. Fire up Dobbs this week.

Jimmy Garappolo vs. GB (Mon.) - 13.2% Rostered

This assumes Jimmy is cleared of concussion protocol and plays, which sounds likely. If not, I'll bring up (it's gross) Ryan Tannehill as another option against the Colts' suspect pass defense. Anyway, Jimmy faces a Packers defense that isn't a great matchup for quarterbacks, but not one to actively avoid. Other than his game against Buffalo, who have been brutal against QB's this year, Jimmy is averaging over 18 fantasy points a game.

Tyler Conklin vs. DEN - 8.1% Rostered

I told you it was ugly for streaming this week. A lot of people have caught up with some of the guys we like to stream. Or they are on a bye week. But, here we are. Conklin was not to be found in week 1, but since then has racked up 12 receptions for 134 receiving yards. Denver's defense has been horrific to start the season, and their tight end defense is no different, giving up the 7th most points to tight ends in PPR formats. If Zach Wilson can stay competent, and that is a big step of faith if, Conklin could be in for a decent week.

Luke Musgrave vs. LV (Mon.) - 26.9% Rostered

Musgrave has had an impressive start to his career. 125 yards on 12 catches through four (essentially three) games is what I'd call a great start, anyway. His ADOT is the third highest among tight ends so far this season and he has the 8th most air yards of all tight ends even with missing most of a game. Las Vegas is a decently friendly matchup for tight ends, and with the kind of production Musgrave is having, it's hard to ignore him in a week where streaming options are thin.

That will do it for our 2023 NFL Fantasy Football Week 5 QB/TE Streamers! Make those waiver claims and bring home the win! Don't forget to see what else we've got going on at Fantasy Six Pack!
