Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants
Not much to say here. If you haven't used the Cowboys yet, this is a no brainer. Week 1 the Cowboys beat the Giants 40-0, sacked Daniel Jones seven times, picked him off twice, one going for a pick six, recovered a fumble, and blocked a field goal for a touchdown. This time there is no Daniel Jones. The Giants will be starting Tommy Devito. This could honestly be worse than the 40-0 beatdown to start the season.
Cincinnati Bengals vs Houston Texans
I think for the first time all year, there is finally some confidence surrounding this Bengals team and people are starting to believe they are Super Bowl contenders once again. Joe Burrow is clearly back to close to 100% as we watched him torch the Buffalo Bills defense for 348 yards and two touchdowns. Over his last four games, Burrow has 10 touchdowns and just two interceptions. Cincinnati is 4-0 in that span. The Bengals now take on a Houston Texans defense that just gave up 37 points to Baker Mayfield (265 passing yards, 2 TDs) and the Tampa Bay Bucs. You know Burrow is licking his chops knowing he's taking on a bottom 10 defense against the pass. Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins should have a field day against the Texans secondary.
C.J. Stroud comes into this game after setting the NFL rookie record for passing yards in a game with 470 yards, and he also threw five touchdowns! However this Bengals defense has given up just ten touchdowns all season, and has picked off opposing QBs 11 times. Should be a good test against the young rookie QB who has thrown just one INT all year.
Hard not to like the Bengals at home with the way they are playing now. Also, let's not forget, just two weeks ago this Houston Texans team lost to the Carolina Panthers, so do not get caught up in the Stroud hype. This should be a pretty good beating by Cincy.
Indianapolis Colts @ New England Patriots
We head to Germany for a meeting between the Colts and Patriots, where I think the Colts match up very well in this one. Indy is averaging nearly 26 points a game this season, as they're the only team in the NFL who has scored 20+ points in every game. They take on a Patriots team who is averaging 15 points a game - only the Giants are averaging less at 11 points per game.
This Colts defense struggles at times, but I don't think they need to worry about this Patriots offense, led by Mac Jones. We saw what the Colts defense is capable of against a bad Panthers offense, sacking Bryce Young four times, forcing three interceptions, two of those by Kenny Moore who returned them both for touchdowns.
New England just played the Washington Commanders, the week they traded their two best defensive players, pass rushers Montez Sweat and Chase Young. The Patriots managed just 17 points, and Mac Jones was not sacked and went 24/44 for 220 yards with a TD and an INT. Now imagine what Jones will do when he faces a heavy Colts pass rush, and will likely be playing from behind because as mentioned before, the Colts will put points on the board.
If the Colts are able to continue their streak of 20+ point games to start the season, it's going to be hard to imagine they lose this game, as it would take a near perfect game from this Patriots offense to hit that plateau.
Atlanta Falcons @ Arizona Cardinals
With not a lot of great matchups in Week 10, especially knowing most of us picked the favorites of the week already, I find myself going back to what works best, picking against the Cardinals. Yes, Kyler Murray might be back this week, as it would be criminal for Arizona to put Clayton Tune (11/20, 58 yards, 2 INT, 7 sacks) back out there for another week, but are you worried about a guy who is coming off of ACL surgery and hasn't played a football game in 11 months? Didn't think so.
This Atlanta Falcons offense is way better off with Taylor Heinicke under center moving forward. Heinicke is a gunslinger, and does put his receivers in harms way but he's the best thing for guys like Kyle Pitts and Drake London as he's willing to take a shot and make a big play. Also I think this is the week that we get the Bijan Robinson breakout game. Arizona is giving up 27 points a game, and are seventh worst in the NFL, allowing 129 yards per game on the ground. Art Smith needs to let Bijan loose and let him run wild against a very bad Cardinals defense.
This could very well be a high scoring game, but I fully expect the Falcons to run away with it late. Arizona is having a historically bad second half of games as they've been outscored 135-47 in
