2024 NFL Mock Draft - Post-Free Agency Edition

With the NFL Draft here the F6P crew presents their final NFL Mock Draft. NFL free agency greatly impacted each team's needs ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft! Below are three freshly updated mock drafts post-free agency frenzy!

Make sure you bookmark our Transaction Tracker for immediate reactions to breaking news, including the potential impact on Fantasy Football!

The Chicago Bears traded Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers, signed D'Andre Swift and traded for Keenan Allen, putting Caleb Williams in a position to win immediately.

The debate between Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels continues to be contentious, even among Washington Commanders fans!

With the third pick, the New England Patriots have not yet committed to Maye or Daniels despite trading Mac Jones to the Jacksonville Jaguars. They signed Jacoby Brissettt, and they may enter the season with him as their starting quarterback. In this case, they would trade back from three, possibly to the Minnesota Vikings (signed Sam Darnold), Denver Broncos or Las Vegas Raiders (signed Gardner Minshew)—three quarterback-hungry teams picking outside the top 10.

The Minnesota Vikings acquired the 23rd pick in the 2024 NFL Draft from the Houston Texans (via CLE). That gives them more leverage when negotiating a deal with the Patriots, Arizona Cardinals or even the Los Angeles Chargers!

Questions remain and picks will change hands, there is no doubt. This will be an exciting NFL Draft weekend!

The top of the draft is filled with tons of talent, but the teams that we expect to be making these picks have many question marks, and we might see things change as draft night approaches.

Pick 7: Tennessee Titans

The Titans signed running back Tony Pollard, wide receiver Calvin Ridley and center Lloyd Cushenberry. However, the offensive line still needs improvement to create running lanes for Pollard and to protect Will Levis. However, this pick could easily be a wide receiver if one of Malik Nabers or Rome Odunze is still available.

Pick 9: Chicago Bears

After trading for Keenan Allen and signing tight end Gerald Everett, it's less likely this pick will be spent on a pass catcher. However, Keenan Allen is on an expiring contract, and Nabers/Odunze or even tight end Brock Bowers would be planning for Caleb Williams' future.

Pick 10: New York Jets

The Jets did sign Tyron Smith and John Simpson, but depth and, more importantly, youth are still significant needs for New York. The addition of Mike Williams probably means they won't go after a wide receiver. Still, Brock Bowers would give this offense a boost, catching passes from Aaron Rodgers alongside Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall in the backfield.

Pick 12: Denver Broncos

Russell Wilson signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Seeing them draft Michael Penix Jr. or Bo Nix in Round 2 would not surprise me. Jarrett Stidham and Ben DiNucci make up the current QB depth chart!

Pick 18: Cincinnati Bengals

Zack Moss takes over at RB after Joe Mixon was traded to the Houston Texans. The offensive line is a huge need as there is no long-term plan in place to protect Joe Burrow, which has been a problem.

Pick 20: Pittsburgh Steelers

Russell Wilson will run Arthur Smith's offense without Diontae Johnson, who was traded to the Carolina Panthers. Offensive tackle Chukwuma Okorafor signed with the Patriots. Both positions are huge team needs, but I would be on the Steelers drafting an offensive lineman over a wide receiver.

Pick 21: Miami Dolphins

Miami signed Aaron Brewer, and Terron Armstead did not retire, but Robert Hunt left for $100 mil from the Panthers. We all witnessed Tua Tagovailoa fail to perform under pressure.

Pick 22: Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles upgraded at RB, letting D'Andre Swift walk and signing Saquon Barkley. They also spend money on the defensive side of the ball, adding Bryce Huff, Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, and Zack Baun.

Pick 24: Dallas Cowboys

If there was any franchise that could develop a lineman as raw as Amarius Mims, it's the Dallas Cowboys—who seem to forget that they need to sign a running back! Will they draft Jonathon Brooks in the second round?

Pick 25: Green Bay Packers

The Packers cut ties with RB Aaron Jones, who signed with the Minnesota Vikings, in favor of Josh Jacobs. They let Darnell Savage go but added Xavier McKinney and Keisean Nixon in the secondary. Odds are, they target a defender in the first round.

Pick 28: Buffalo Bills

Even before the Bills traded Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, they were being mocked to take a wide receiver. Now, it seems more like a lock. They also need to replace Gabriel Davis. Insert Brian Thomas Jr. I am curious to know who tops their draft board if Thomas gets picked before they are on the clock!

Pick 32: Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs were expected to draft a wide receiver at the end of the first round, but they waited out free agency and signed Marquise Brown. However, Rashee Rice made things a bit more interesting after an off-the-field incident. I wanted Ladd McConkey to be the pick here for Fantasy Football purposes, but I doubt that happens now.
