With the 2023 NFL Draft right around the corner, it’s time for Dynasty Fantasy Football GMs to start preparing for their own rookie drafts and getting acquainted with the new batch of incoming talent.
These rankings and tiers are still fluid and will adjust post-draft, but it gives a solid starting point on how to value the potential fantasy stars of tomorrow as we head into the draft.

Dynasty Football Rookie QB Tiered Rankings

Tier 1 - Franchise Cornerstones
C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson, Bryce Young
These will be the first three QBs off the board in every rookie draft. While you can make a strong case for each of them, C.J. Stroud slots in as my QB1 in this class. Stroud’s accuracy and ball placement on a down-to-down basis is already near an elite level. While his upside may not be as high as a few guys in the rest of his class, his floor is much higher and he should settle in as a high-level fantasy starter within his first two seasons.
Anthony Richardson is the “swing-for-the-fences” pick in this class. He’s 6’4”, 240 lbs with track star speed and an arm that can make any throw on the field, from any platform. He just needs to clean up his mechanics and processing to show that he can do these things more consistently.
Bryce Young will need to speed up his decision-making and get the ball out of his hands quicker than he did in college to avoid taking big hits in the NFL. His playing weight is around 190 lbs, so between his slender frame and slight ball control issues (12 career fumbles in college) cleaning up this aspect of his game is paramount. If he can do that we are looking at a future fantasy superstar. In Superflex leagues, expect these 3 QBs to come off the board in the first four picks of most drafts.
