Fantasy Baseball McCloy’s Stream Team

on

Well, the stream team was due for a bad week and it happened.  The team did produce 2 out of 4 quality starts but still a dud.  Its baseball, bound to happen sometime.  The team looks to get back on track this week and the roster is full, 8 streaming starts.  Stream Away!

Two Start Streamers
Nathan Eovaldi (MIA)-Mon vs NYM, Sat @ SD (ESPN-61% Yahoo-50%)
Eovaldi has been on this team a couple times already and I’m still wondering why his ownership is so low.  He has a great 35/5 K/BB ratio and a sub 3 ERA (2.58) to go along with a 1.02 WHIP.  Is this sustainable for the entire season? Doubtful, but ride him now, especially with two great matchups this week.

neiseJohnathan Niese (NYM) Mon @ MIA, Sun vs PHI (ESPN-23% Yahoo-26%)
Niese has been under the radar good this year, having 5 quality starts in 6 appearances.  He also owns a 2.20 ERA and 1.04 WHIP.  Although the Marlins have been hitting as of late, he still gets spacious Marlins Park in Monday’s game and then gets the not so Fighting Phillies on Sunday.

Single Start Streamers
Zach McAllister (CLE)-MON vs MIN (ESPN-14% Yahoo-19%)
He’s had an up and down season so far but he gets the Twins at home who hit for better average on the road but have a lot less power.  Look for McAlister to have a quality start with some K’s for you.

GuthrieJeremy Guthrie (KC)-TUE @ SD (ESPN-1.5% Yahoo-5%)
This is a gut feeling kind of pick plus he gets to pitch in spacious Petco Park against Robbie Erlin.

Ian Kennedy (SD) THURS vs MIA (ESPN-40% Yahoo-65%)
Kennedy has regained some of his dominance on the mound, striking out 44 in 42 innings so far in 2014.  He gets the Marlins who he beat in early April allowing 1 ER in 6 innings.

Jose Quintana (CWS) FRI vs ARI (ESPN-10% Yahoo-37%)
Quintana is coming off his best game of the young season where he struck out 10 in a quality start vs Detroit.  He actually has 5 QS out of his 6 starts this season.  Now he gets the Arizona Diamondbacks who are hitting .245 away from home.

MAY THE STREAMS FOREVER BE IN YOUR FAVOR
