The Fantasy Edge Week 11: Quarterback Exchange

Another week, another quarterback change. Up to this point however, we’ve seen the changes at a level where changes are either inevitable or necessary because of injury. This week we saw Tyrod Taylor hugging the pine. Whether this is permanent or not remains to be seen, but there’s no doubt that Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott was not impressed after the Saints blowout.

Blaine Gabbert makes his regular season debut in place of injured Drew Stanton.

What about next week? Will Teddy Bridgewater make his debut too?

Kevin Huo and Richard Savill recap the Titans at Steelers game.

Alex Hamrick joins the program with his starts and sits of the week.

Tyler Thompson has his Stream-o-Matic defenses for Week 11.

Richard and Kevin look at players rising, headaches, waiver possibilities for Week 11 and sleepers of the week.

Plus all the fantasy news, views, and stories from around the NFL.

In this podcast we discuss:

Titans 17 at Steelers 40

This was all Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger. The writing was on the wall early in this one as Marcus Mariota threw an interception on his first offensive series. The Steelers dominated on defense and the running game on both sides took a back seat to the air attack.

Jordy Nelson, WR, Green Bay Packers

It seems Jordy Nelson is Aaron Rodgers dependent after all. Brett Hundley‘s receiver of choice right now is Davante Adams.

How are owners to cope with this down the stretch to the fantasy playoffs?

The Fantasy Edge Week 11Who are the top cornerbacks that affect our wide receivers?

Kevin and Richard discuss the top corners in the league and which ones are potentially dangerous for our wide receivers.

The Jaguars have the strongest tandem in Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye, but what about the rest?

Here are the top 20 corners in order of passes defended in 2017 from Pro Football Reference:

Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Minnesota

Should owners of Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs embrace the idea of Bridgewater returning to the starting job when everything is running just fine under Case Keenum? If Bridgewater returns, could it affect those aforementioned revceivers in a negative way?
