Finding value is the key to taking down a contest. It was easy to see Luis Severino having a nice night against the Philadelphia Phillies, but Chad Pinder, Leury Garcia, Wil Myers and Hunter Renfroe were the guys needed in your lineup, in order to pay up for Severino. Those guys were all on our radar last night.
Sometimes value isn't found just because a players salary is below $6000.
Carlos Martinez, Steven Matz and Freddy Peralta were all excellent starts last night and came at huge savings over starting Severino, Corey Kluber or Charlie Morton.
When you read the top value plays below, make sure you head to the projections after to see all the other options at each position.

Matt Joyce has seen the largest increase in projection since our first update this morning. He will bat 2nd for the Athletics tonight on the road against Tigers starter Mike Fiers. Since his return from the DL, Joyce scored 6 FD points in three games before hitting 5.0x with 12.4 points last night. He scored twice and hit double but is hitting just .198 on the year with a .314 OBP.
Roster with caution!
Robbie Ray #Dbacks is the probable starter today (Wednesday) vs #Marlins. It's his first GS in #MLB since Apr. 29. We simply don't know what we're going to get so sit him in #FantasyBaseball. IP volume concerns mean avoid him in #DFS.

Robbie Ray is making his return to the mound tonight against the Miami Marlins. He hasn't pitched in the Majors since April 29th. Projections like him, but he could find himself on a pitch limit that could end his night early!
The Marlins .321 wOBA over the last two weeks has actually been slightly above the league average.

Alex Wood vs Kyle Hendricks tonight in Los Angeles - both pitchers are priced under $8000 and projected to score 30+ FD points. Safe to say you might want to avoid the Dodgers/Cubs hitters tonight...unless you want to be SUPER contrarian!
