MLB DFS 6/29 - FanDuel Projection Results

Just a four-game slate last night as most teams played during the day. You see lots of red below that 1:1 line which means high priced players did not have a great night.

We had a couple of nice value options for you in Orlando Arcia, Tyler White, Nick Williams and Brad Miller which allowed you to pay up for Lance McCullers or Aaron Nola.

Unfortunately, we also loved us some J.D. Martinez last night, but even he was proven to be human last night.

6 Pack for Cash via @DFS_Wolfpack

  • Marcus Stroman 6.2k
  • Jose Abreu 3.3k
  • Yoan Moncada 3.3k
  • Mike Trout 5.1k
  • Justin Upton: 3.9k
  • Teoscar Hernandez 3.1k

Today we will start the 6 pack with Marcus Stroman. He has a juicy matchup against the Tigers, who have been the 2nd worst team, vs right-handed pitchers, for the last month. Pair that up with their 24% K rate vs RHPs and Stroman’s extremely low price, you can roll with him in all formats.

Second, we will be attacking Yovani Gallardo by pairing Jose Abreu and Yoan Moncada. Gallardo has a very poor K rate and has allowed a wOBA over .444 to both righties and lefties this year. Abreu and Moncada should bring some great value and upside for the 6 pack tonight.

The Angels are projected to score the second most runs in the slate today. Since we played Stroman today, we can easily afford Trout and Upton. They are the focal points of the Angels offense and both grade really well vs David Hess, Lock them in your lineups tonight.

To finish the 6 pack, we like Teoscar Hernandez. Toronto is projected to score the 3rd most runs tonight vs LHP Francisco Liriano. Liriano struggles vs righties and Hernandez absolutely mashes LHP. He has a .519 ISO vs lefties the last month.

To finish building your lineup, you are left with an average of $3367 to spend for your final 3 spots.

We like the idea of adding more Angels in the lineup, so Luis Valbuena at $2.6k is a nice option.

The Texas Rangers are projected the most runs on the slate, so you will want to get some shares there.

Adrian Beltre and Elvis Andrus - $3500

Nomar Mazara and Rougned Odor - $2800

Depending on how you build out your lineup, you might be able to afford Nelson Cruz at $4k, He has a .370 ISO and .475 wOBA vs RHP the last month and will be in a great spot vs Ian Kennedy.

Some other players in great spots are Brandon Nimmo at $3k and Cole Calhoun at 2.5k.

Making His First MLB Start

The Miami Marlins are starting 22-year-old Sandy Alcantara today against the New York Mets. Alcantara made 8 relief appearances in 2017, totaling 8.1 innings pitched. He struck out 10 batters, but walked six and allowed nine hits.

His first MLB start will match him up against Mets Ace, Jacob deGrom.

Alcantara has spent the entire season at AAA, making 14 starts. He owns a 3.71 ERA, with just 64 strikeouts in 85 innings. He has shown better command this season, with a 1.21 WHIP.

New York continues to struggle offensively, with a .284 wOBA in June, batting .210 as a team.

Sandy was part of the Marcell Ozuna trade with the St. Louis Cardinals.
