MLB DFS 8-6-20 DraftKings Value Picks

on

Welcome to the MLB DFS 8-6-20 DraftKings value picks article!

We’ve got a seven-game slate today with some unique pairing options. If you live in Michigan, the good news is you can join in. This is thanks to legislation passed late in 2019. If you would like to get in on the action, whether is be DFS or throwing down some bets on the odds of the game, check out this Michigan Online Gambling site. It provides updates on Michigan Gambling and the best places to place your bets.

The cheap value pairing option is the White Sox’s Luis Roberts ($4,300) and Eloy Jimenez ($4,100). This young pairing will crush the Brewers’ pitching and are projected to be owned in 4.5 percent of DraftKings lineups.

The intermediate value option is the Yankees’ Aaron Judge ($4,900) and DJ LeMahieu ($4,500). They are the most reliable option. This pairing already has four hits, two runs, one RBI, and home run against the Phillies. They should be able to do it again.

The oddly expensive value option is the GiantsDonovan Solano ($4,900) and Mike Yastrzemski ($5800). It might be costly, but it’s a lowly owned pairing (5 percent projected ownership).

Seven Game Slate

Pitcher

Brandon Bielak, Houston Astros – 7,500

So far this season, Bielak has two appearances and walked away with two wins. Now that was in relief duty, but he should walk away with a win in his first start, especially against the Athletics.

Oakland has 107 strikeouts, and only 46 runs so far this season, not a very efficient offense.

Don’t worry about Bielak being pulled early; most the Astros’ bullpen is injured. Roberto Osuna (elbow), Ryan Pressly (Thumb), Chris Devenski (elbow), and Joe Biagini (shoulder) are dealing with injuries.

Catcher

Willson Contreras, Chicago Cubs – 4,500

In his previous three games, Contreras has three hits, three runs, and one home run. He is facing off against Brad Keller, who gave up seven hits and four runs in his last start against the Cubs.

First Base

Wilmer Flores, San Francisco Giants – $4800

Flores owns a .316 AVG, .360 wOBA, and is on a four-game hitting streak.

Now he is in Coors Fields, an extremely friendly hitters park, get all the shares you can.

Second Base

Jason Kipnis, Chicago Cubs  – $3,100

The Cubs use Kipnis mostly against righties, and it’s working (five hits in his previous three games).

Don’t worry if Kipnis is out of the lineup. Nico Hoerner is the same price and should record a hit against the Royals.

Third Base

Renato Nunez, Baltimore Orioles – 4,100

I know it seems like a bad idea to suggest an Orioles, but it’s a good idea to help you win.

Nunez has scored double-digit points in four out of the nine games he has played this season.

He is a reliable producer that no one wants because he plays on the Orioles.

Shortstop

Jonathan Villar, Miami Marlins – 4,300

Villar is the best hitter on an offense facing off against the Orioles, and he’s cheap (on DraftKings, I don’t know if he is cheap in his personal life).

Do I need to say more?

Outfielder

Ben Gamel, Milwaukee Brewers – $3,200

Gamel is now a full-time starter since Lorenzo Cain opted out.

When Gamel has been in the lineup, he has produced. In his previous three games, he has five RBIs, four hits, three runs, and two home runs.

That production has moved him up to fifth in the batting order.
