PG - Cam Thomas, $6,000, Brooklyn Nets
What a move by Cam Thomas on the fader 😮💨
— NBA TV (@NBATV) January 11, 2024
I am starting hot with a huge risk at the point guard position. Cam Thomas has been inconsistent this season with his minutes in the starting rotation. We have seen the highest of highs with 59 DraftKings points then down to 4 DraftKings points from him.
The 22-year-old guard while starting has seen his numbers flash but when he comes off the bench, the numbers take a tumble. Even though he is coming off the bench in this game, his playmaking skills can earn him more minutes. In this matchup, he will need to make an impact for the Brooklyn Nets to stay close to the Los Angeles Lakers.
SG - Grayson Allen, $5,900, Phoenix Suns
This season has been interesting for Grayson Allen. The Phoenix Suns have many superstars on the team including Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, and Kevin Durant. One might think there is no way Allen could make an impact still on this team.
In terms of impact, Allen is making a strong case for the team to trust him in the starting lineup. On 1/16/2023, he earned 55 DraftKings points and on 1/14/2023, 30 DraftKings points was the number of the day. As long as he hits his three-point shot, the DraftKings points will rise. I am riding the streak while it is hot for him!
SF - Keldon Johnson, $6,400, San Antonio Spurs
In the past two games, Keldon Johnson has been in a slump terribly. In Daily Fantasy Sports I have learned to have a mind of a goldfish. Put those two games in the past because this is a bounce-back spot for him.
The over/under is the highest of the slate and will be super quick-paced. Victor Wembanyama is out for this game which will lead Johnson to pick up the slack. As long as his minutes are over 20, expect him to accrue over 20 DraftKings points. The shooting percentage is low but the shots are being thrown up by him.
PF - Saddiq Bey, $5,500, Atlanta Hawks

— ClutchPoints (@ClutchPoints) January 13, 2024
Saddiq Bey has earned a huge role for the Atlanta Hawks team this season. In regards to his role, the starting forward is seeing consistent minutes and the team is loving his shot production. He may not be the first option the team goes to but he is certainly the third role guy.
The shooting has been in a slump the past two games but you need to take the same approach to this play as Keldon Johnson. In the past five games, he has been shooting over 5 three-point attempts. In terms of field goal attempts, he can take anywhere from 8 to 16 attempts. Trust his shots to fall and the DraftKings points will fall into place.
C - Joel Embiid, $11,500, Philadelphia 76ers
Joel Embiid delivered a stellar performance in his return to the lineup 🔥
41 PTS / 10 REB / 57% FG / W

My favorite play of the slate is Joel Embiid. The tear he has been on is nothing short of amazing. Last game he faced off against Nikola Jokic and dominated in terms of DraftKings with 68 DraftKings points. Injuries have battled him but the performance is simply amazing what he can do.
To take a peek at this matchup, who is going to stop him on the Orlando Magic? This a dream matchup for him to smash in and accrue 70 DraftKings points. Take points and watch him deliver a star-struck performance.
Other Options- Myles Turner and Nikola Jokic
