NBA DFS Yahoo Breakdown

Cody Cook aka @DProdiogy here breaking down the Yahoo NBA DFS 10-20-22 two-game NBA slate!

The Milwaukee Bucks look to start off the season as the underdog against the Philadelphia 76ers coming in at the 76ers as -4.5 favorites. The over/under is 225 points.

The battle of Los Angeles will be occurring with the Los Clippers coming as -5.5 favorites against the Los Angeles Lakers. The over/under will be a high-scoring affair at 223.5 points.

Our injury report has Khris Middleton, Dennis Schroder, Pat Connaughton, and Joe Ingles as OUT.

With those four players as non-options, let's look at the rest of the slate.

Point Guard - John Wall, $21, Los Angeles Clippers

The long-awaited return of John Wall is here and possibly will be starting the opening night. I am loving the price tag of the veteran who we know in the past is a great playmaker. Wall will be able to contribute to all aspects of the stat line. The price tag on Yahoo is what I love for Wall starting the season. Even if Wall does come off the bench, the minutes will still look great for Wall.

Other Options- Tyrese Maxey and Reggie Jackson

Shooting Guard - Grayson Allen, $10, Milwaukee Bucks

I am going straight to value in this spot in order to spend up elsewhere on this slate. Allen is known for his aggressive play that typically turns into three-point shots. With Khris Middleton out, Allen should be in the starting lineup on opening night. I am banking on the focus being shifted to Jrue Holiday and Giannis Antekoounmpo which will leave Allen in the corner swishing three-pointers making his value price tag worth it!

Other Options- Paul George and Kendrick Nunn

Small Forward -  Kawhi Leonard, $46, Los Angeles Clippers

The stars will be aligned in this star-studded affair with Kawhi going up against Lebron James! I am taking Kawhi to earn fantasy points on both ends of the floor. I like John Wall with the pairing of Kawhi who can contribute in multiple ways to each other. Kawhi's price tag is also cheaper than Lebron James which I like in all formats!

Other Options- LeBron James and Tobias Harris

Power Forward - Giannis Antetokounmpo, $55, Milwaukee Bucks

The preseason was interesting for the young Greek star and I think Giannis can easily get past it in this matchup. We saw the Boston Celtics team look great against the Philadephia team in which Giannis should certainly do the same. Giannis is priced highly and I am hoping to drop his ownership for us in that others can go to Anthony Davis at a cheaper price tag. Play the best player on the slate!

Other Options-Anthony Davis and PJ Tucker

Center - Ivica Zubac, $17, Los Angeles Clippers

With our last but not least position, I am shooting for value! Zubac is now the lone center to soak up as many minutes in front of Moses Brown who is still coming into form in the NBA. Zubac should see 30-plus minutes on the floor in a great matchup. The correlation like I stated above with Wall and Kawhi should bode well for Zubac to pick up additional stats. I am going against the grain not spending up for Joel Embiid after seeing how Joel played last night!

Other Options- Bobby Portis and Brook Lopez
