It is the Day of the Dead and I am bringing you some deadly picks for this NBA DFS 11-2-23 DraftKings slate! My name is Cody Cook aka @DProdiogy and I will be talking about the 4-game slate.
In our first game, the Toronto Raptors are taking on the Philadelphia 76ers. The next game is a young Detroit Pistons team taking on the New Orleans Pelicans. We have a close game in the Orlando Magic traveling to Utah to face off against the Utah Jazz who are one-point favorites. The over/under is super low coming in at 222.5 points.
Lastly, we have the star phenom Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs against the injury-riddled Phoenix Suns who are eight-point favorites. The over/under is coming in at 225.5 points.
Our injury report lists Devin Booker and Bradley Beal listed as out. With those players highlighted players as non-options, let's look at the rest of the slate!

PG -Â Tyrese Maxey, $8,400, Philadelphia 76ers
I am going right back to the well with Tyrese Maxey who is now leading the Philadelphia 76ers guard rotation. James Harden is now on the Los Angeles Clippers.
At first glance, the DraftKings price tag might seem high but consistency is the key word for him. In three games, he has not scored less than 45 DraftKings fantasy points. Keep in mind his best game was against Toronto this season with 57 DraftKings points and expect the same upside he brings to the table again!
Other Options- Jordan Goodwin and Markelle Fultz
SG - Grayson Allen, $5,100, Phoenix Suns
The longtime villain in Milwaukee has now found a new home in Phoenix. Grayson Allen is playing huge minutes in a starting role that he didn't see last year and he is making the most of this opportunity. Injuries are piling up on this team so we have seen a combination of role players now picking up the slack.
The DraftKings price tag for him makes it work into a viable output from a starter and if the three-ball is hitting, the fantasy value skyrockets for him. I am looking to go super balanced on this slate for the DraftKings price tags.

SF - Ausar Thomspon, $6,600, Detroit Pistons
Ausar Thompson is playing lights out for a rookie making the most of his minutes on the team. The Overtime Elite product has played huge minutes and the rebounds are making him a fantasy option in our lineups. Furthermore, he is showing his athletic ability on the floor adding blocks and steals. Despite the real-time points not being huge, the peripheral stats make him a fantasy-viable target.
Other Options- Herbert Jones and Kelly Oubre Jr.
PF - John Collins, $5,600, Utah Jazz
I was surprised when I saw the DraftKings price tag for John Collins at first glance. He has quietly done well in his new home in Utah. The rebound numbers have been through the roof and his shooting numbers show the confidence he is bringing to this team.
Furthermore, the numbers can be streaky for him and we have seen in the past he can go a burst of a scoring output. I am looking to go balanced on this slate as I stated above, so he has his price tag in the middle of the pack on DraftKings slides right in our lineups.
Now it is time to talk about our stud of the slate below!
Other Options- Zion Williamson and Isaiah StewartÂ
C -Â Joel Embiid, $11,500, Philadelphia 76ers
On a four-game slate, you have to decide between Kevin Durant or Joel Embiid as your highest-priced options on the DraftKings slates. I rarely pay for a player over the $11,000 price tag on DraftKings but this price tag is well warranted. I am shooting for the raw points from him.
Tyrese Maxey and Embiid are leading this Philadelphia team now without James Harden on the team. I go back to the game log and we just saw his 63 DraftKings fantasy point output from him against Toronto. Trust the process!
