Welcome to the NBA DFS 2-11-22 DraftKings Picks article!

Yesterday was one of the crazier NBA Trade Deadlines that we've had in recent memory! Today we have a slightly smaller seven-game slate of basketball games to build our lineups.

Making the right picks will be crucial tonight with so many players to choose from.

Hornets @ Pistons
Nuggets @ Celtics
Spurs @ Hawks
Timberwolves @ Bulls
Magic @ Jazz

Guards

LaMelo Ball, Charlotte Hornets, $9,000

LaMelo will be going to his first All-star game as a replacement and will look to show why he deserved a spot. The sophomore guard has been struggling shooting lately but can catch hot any game and recently just scored 33 points Tuesday night against the Bulls.

The Pistons give up fourth-most DK points to point guards, and they’re in the bottom three in rebounds and assists allowed as well.

In the game earlier this season when these two teams played, Ball ended with 12 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists.

Something to look for is that Ball is currently averaging about four more minutes and eight more points in games without Gordon Hayward, who will be out tonight.

Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks, $9,900

After struggling his previous two games, Ice Trae was hot from deep, finishing with six three-pointers. He ended the night with 34 points and 11 assists and didn't even see the court in the fourth quarter due to the blowout win against the Pacers on Tuesday.

The Spurs have been terrible defensively and play at the seventh-fastest rate, which sets up the perfect game script for Young.

From the beginning of the calendar year, he is currently fourth in usage rate, third in points, and sixth in assists. He has the potential to lead the slate in DK points tonight and feels like the safest play among top players as well.

Donovan Mitchell, Utah Jazz, $8,800

After missing about two weeks of games due to a concussion, Mitchell has returned showing no sign of rust. Since his return, he is averaging about 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists per game.

Since returning back on February 4, Mitchell is tied in seventh in assists. He should have his hands all over this game against the Magic who continues to be one of the worst teams in the league. They have the eighth-worst defensive rating and have no answer for Mitchell.

Because the Jazz have some injuries on their roster this could be a competitive game that will call on Mitchell.

Forwards

Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics, $9,600

Tatum hasn't had a big game lately and a lot of that has to do with the Celtics blowing out teams so he isn't playing as much.

Tonight against the Denver Nuggets should be a close game and I like him against a struggling Denver defense. This will be a slower-paced game as both teams play at a slow pace but Tatum’s volume should make up for that. Tatum is third in the NBA in shot attempts (20.7), and third in the NBA in minutes (36).

Over the past couple of games, Tatum has been more of a facilitator, and he could play more of that role tonight with Dennis Schroder and Josh Richardson went via trade.

Miles Bridges, Charlotte Hornets, $8,100

Bridges has arguably been this year's Most Improved Player so far this season and should further his case tonight against the Pistons.

Detroit has been playing at one of the slowest paces in the league as of late but most of the scoring and playmaking should come from him and LaMelo.

With Gordon Hayward out, Bridges has seen all the minutes he can handle as of late and this game should be competitive. Bridges has a chance to explode in any game and has expanded his game this season in playmaking as well.

Saddiq Bey, Detroit Pistons, $6,600

The sophomore from Villanova is quietly having a nice season for this rebuilding Pistons team. He has the ability to score the basket and the return of Jerami Grant hasn't hurt his production as some thought, Bey had multiple games last week with over 20 points.

The Hornets have the fifth-worst defense and play at the second-fastest pace in the league so this should be a high-scoring game.

Since the beginning of this year, Bey is just outside the top 10 in three-pointers attempted per game (8.4).

Cade Cunningham is questionable, and that will play a role in Bey’s play, he is averaging nearly five more points and rebounds when Cunningham isn't available.

Bey has been playing over 30 minutes per game throughout the season so he should see a full workload whether it's a blowout or not.
