Welcome to the NBA DFS 2-26-21 DraftKings picks article!

Last night there was a simple six-game slate but tonight there will be a few more with a nine-game main slate!

Making the right picks will be crucial tonight with so many games to choose from.

These are the higher-priced players I expect to pay off.

9 Game Slate

Pacers @ Celtics
Rockets @ Raptors
Suns @ Bulls
Kings @ Pistons
Clippers @ Grizzlies
Jazz @ Heat
Hawks @ Thunder
Hornets @ Warriors
Trail Blazers @ Lakers

Guards

Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers, ($10,100)

Lillard has once again been snubbed in his career, with Luka Doncic edging him out to start the NBA All-Star game.

Dame is doing his best to carry the Blazers while teammate C.J McCollum (foot) is out with injury. He is currently fourth in the league in usage rate at 33.7 (career-high).

The Lakers defense has been weakened with Anthony Davis missing games (Achilles), which Lillard should be able to take advantage of.

Dame Dolla is averaging 58.52 DK points ppg over the past five games.

Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors, ($9,700)

Steph is doing all he can to keep the Warriors in the playoff picture, he’s currently second in the league in scoring.

He will be facing a Hornets defense that is currently allowing the second-most assists to point guards per game, and currently the sixth-worst team at defending three-point shots over the past five games.

After only making a single three-point shot in his previous game, look for Curry to get back on track against this poor perimeter defense.

Curry has scored less than 50 DK points only once over the past five games.

Fred VanVleet, Toronto Raptors, ($8,300)

Quietly becoming one of the best guards in the league this season, VanVleet is averaging 20 ppg and 6.7 apg, both are career highs.

The Rockets currently allow the most points to shooting guards this season, allowing 25.91 ppg. Their perimeter defense has been terrible which he should be able to exploit as he is 10th in the league in three-pointers made (3.3).

Furthermore, VanVleet is currently third in the NBA in minutes at 36.7 per game, which will be a big factor in this slower-paced game.

Forwards

LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers, ($10,700)

LeBron has continued his dominance as arguably the best in the league, despite Anthony Davis’ absence. I expect the four-game losing streak to motivate LeBron to become more aggressive in scoring the ball.

In addition, things should be easier with Dennis Schroder expecting to be back (COVID-19). The Blazers currently allow 115.6 ppg, fifth-worst in the league.

King James scored 29 points, 6 rebounds, and 9 assists when he faced them back in December, I expect him to score at least 30 points this game.

He has scored 30 points in three of his previous five games.

John Collins, Atlanta Hawks ($6,400)

Currently playing in his contract year it was expected that Collins would have an All-Star caliber season but that hasn’t been the case.

The Hawks’ forward is averaging 17.4 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

He should be able to capitalize on the weak interior defense, with Al Horford expected to rest. They are currently allowing the third-most points and rebounds to power forwards this season.

Collins has the potential to go off on any given night and I expect him to smash value against the Thunder.

He is a must-start at this price.

Jerami Grant, Detroit Pistons, ($7,300)

Look for the Pistons to run their team through Grant for the remainder of the season as they plan for next season.

He couldn’t have asked for a better matchup tonight, they have the worst defense in the league and allow 44.96 DK points per game to small forwards, fifth-worst in the league. To make things even better they allow about 23 ppg to power forwards, fourth-worst.

Grant missed the Pistons’ last game due to rest. He is currently fifth in minutes at 36.3 mpg.

If Saddiq Bey (ankle) is ruled out, look for even more time on the court for Grant.
