NBA DFS Yahoo Breakdown

Cody Cook, aka @DProdiogy, here breaking down the NBA DFS 3-23-23 Yahoo Breakdown of the four-game NBA slate!

The NBA playoffs can't come soon enough!

Our first game up on the slate features the New York Knicks as 2.5-point favorites in a great matchup against the Orlando Magic. The game should be fast-paced, with an over/under setting in at 230 points.

After the Cleveland Cavaliers won last night against the Brooklyn Nets, we have the rematch as the Cleveland Cavaliers are 4.5-point favorites.  The over/under is the lowest on the slate at 220 points.

New Orleans Pelicans are the biggest favorite on the slate at seven points against the Charlotte Hornets with an over/under at 225 points.

The last game of the slate features the Oklahoma City Thunder against the Los Angeles Clippers without Paul George tonight. The Los Angeles Clippers are 2.5-point favorites with an over/under of 231.5 points.

Our injury report lists Paul George, Zion Williamson, Ben Simmons, Norman Powell, and Jalen Suggs listed as out. With those five players highlighted players as non-options, let's look at the rest of the slate.

NBA DFS 3-23-23 Yahoo Breakdown

Point Guard - Markelle Fultz, $27, Orlando Magic

The former Philadelphia 76er's career has been boosted since wearing an Orlando Magic uniform. Markelle Fultz is starting for the Orlando Magic and is putting up career-high numbers. The injury to Jalen Suggs has helped Markelle Fultz boost the starting lineup. I am loving the presence and energy on the court from the former first-round pick.

Other Options-and Spencer Dinwiddie

Shooting Guard - Trey Murphy III, $20, New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans wing guard has shot extremely well in his recent games. Trey Murphy III has rained three-point shots and has scored over 20 fantasy points in 9 out of 10 games. The value we can get from the former Virginia wing will be efficient in this matchup.

Other Options-Josh Giddey and Gary Harris

Small Forward - Kawhi Leonard, $41, Los Angeles Clippers

Kawhi Leonard is set to take over the team with Paul George out now. The former San Diego State star should have no problem leading the Los Angeles Clippers. The five-time All-Star is the clear-cut favorite stud on the slate for tonight. Play the Fun Guy and see the smile he puts on your face when he scores a 50 bomb!

Other Options-RJ Barrett and Josh Hart

Power Forward - Julius Randle, $40, New York Knicks

The matchup for Julius Randle is a match made in heaven. No one will be able to stop the big man on the New York Knicks. The price tag on Yahoo is too cheap for what he can do in the paint. Kawhi Leonard and the star in the big apple are the two studs that can powerhouse our lineup.

Other Options-Herbert Jones and Evan Mobley

Center - Jonas Valanciunas, New Orleans Pelicans

The minutes have trended up for the big man on the New Orleans Pelicans. Seeing an extended run now, Jonas Valanciunas has grabbed over 10 rebounds and scored over 15 minutes in the past 3 games. The matchup screams an explosive game for JV and should score no less scoring over 40 fantasy points. Talk about another career resurgence!

Other Options-Nick Richards and Jarrett Allen
