NBA DFS 5-7-21 DraftKings Picks

Welcome to the NBA DFS 3-26-21 DraftKings picks article!

The NBA Trade Deadline has come and gone. Check out our initial reactions to the trades here.

Last night there was a light five-game slate but tonight we will have a huge slate with 11 games!

Making the right picks will be crucial tonight with so many games to choose from.

These are the higher-priced players I expect to pay off.

11 Game Slate

Nets @ Pistons
Celtics @ Bucks
Suns @ Raptors
Nuggets @ Pelicans
Rockets @ Timberwolves
Trail Blazers @ Magic
Heat @ Hornets
Pacers @ Mavericks
Grizzlies @ Jazz
Hawks @ Warriors
Cavaliers @ Lakers

James Harden, Brooklyn Nets, ($10,800)

Harden is looking like the MVP favorite with all the injuries going around the league and the way he has carried the Nets with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving missing games.

Harden missed the last game due to a sore neck but I expect him to be back tonight after the Nets lost by 30 with him on the sideline.

He has averaged 24 points, 8 rebounds, and about 10 assists per game over the past two games he has faced the Pistons.

The Beard is a must-start as long as Kyrie and KD are out.

John Wall, Houston Rockets, ($8,300)

Wall has bounced back this season after missing the last two seasons due to injury. The former All-Star is averaging 21 points and about 6 assists per game.

The Timberwolves have been horrid defensively all season, they currently allow the seventh-most DK points to point guards per game (50.78).

Wall has attempted 30 shots twice this month, and with the Rockets trading Victor Oladipo to the Heat, his usage should only increase from here.

Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers, ($10,200)

Dame has been uncharacteristically off these past few games, going 7-31 from beyond the arc over the past three games.

With the Magic trading three of their best players and coming out saying they are moving towards a rebuild, look for Lillard to use this game to get back on track. Poor Chasson Randle.

The Magic currently allows 51.4 DK points per game to point guards, third-most in the league.

The last time Dame Dolla faced the Magic he dropped 36 points.

Jimmy Butler, Miami Heat, ($9,000)

Butler missed last night's game due to a stomach illness but because it was a game-time decision I feel confident he will play today.

The Hornets have had a difficult time all season guarding small forwards, allowing fourth-most DK points to the position (45.6).

The last time he played the Hornets he stuffed the stat sheet with 25 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals.

The game is at 8 o’clock so you will have time to edit your lineup if he is ruled out.

Anthony Edwards, Minnesota Timberwolves, ($7,900)

The first overall pick has been putting up huge scoring numbers since the All-Star break, averaging 30.6 points per game.

With D’Angelo Russell and Malik Beasley still being out, Edwards can shoot at will with Karl Anthony-Towns being the only other offensive threat.

The Rockets have been a disaster all year and trading away Victor Oladipo made them even worse. Giving up eighth-most points per game at 118 ppg.

Look for Edwards to turn it up as the Rookie of the Year opened up with the injury to Lamelo Ball.

Zion Williamson, New Orleans Pelicans, ($8,700)

Zion has been on a scoring tear over the past five games averaging almost 28 ppg at about 67% field goal percentage, and third in usage among power forwards.

Going against the Nuggets, Zion will be able to score at will against the defensively limited Michael Porter Jr and Nikola Jokic.

The Nuggets allow the sixth-most points to power forwards at 21.76 ppg, the last time Zion scored 30 points with only 13 shots when they faced off on Sunday.
