Guards

Tyrese Haliburton, Indiana Pacers, $8,700

Haliburton has been playing on another level since being traded to the Pacers before the trade deadline. He is averaging almost 20 points and 10 assists since the trade and has had a usage rate of 21%.

Many thought Malcolm Brogdon coming back into the lineup from injury would hamper Haliburtons production but that hasn't been the case. Even though it's a small sample size, Haliburton has similar numbers with and without Brogdon so far.

His price has become a little steep but the fact that he stuffs the stat sheet can make up for that, he was the league’s leader in steals per game (2) last month.

Cade Cunningham, Detroit Pistons, $7,600

The first overall pick Cunningham has been playing a great stretch of basketball over his past few games. In his last six games, he is averaging about 20 points, eight rebounds, and five assists per game.

Cunningham has played the Pacers twice so far this season and has averaged 17 points and seven rebounds per game.

This will be a pace-up game as the Pacers have been playing at the fourth-fastest pace over the past three games.

In the month of February, Cunningham was 12th in usage (30.7).

D'Angelo Russell, Minnesota Timberwolves, $7,900

Russell has scoring hot as of late, scoring at least 20 points in his last four games. DLo always has the potential to shoot lights out as he showed against the Grizzlies last week scoring 37 points.

With Anthony Edwards expected to miss the game tonight, more scoring should be put on Russell’s shoulders. Both teams have been playing at a top 10 pace so this could be a high-scoring output from DLo.

Since the All-Star break he is averaging 26 points per game and I would be surprised if he finished the game with less than that as this should be a competitive game with Edwards out.

Forwards

Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks, $7,700

With a slate this tough on top picks, I like Middleton as a safe play tonight. While he doesn't have the highest ceiling, he has a safe floor and a fair matchup against the Bulls who are worse defensively missing Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso

The Bulls are currently allowing the seventh most DK points to small forwards. Middleton ended the game with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists when the two teams faced off in late January.

Middleton has been in a shooting slump from deep but his peripheral stats have made up for it, if he is able to catch hot tonight he could have a big night.

R.J Barrett, New York Knicks, $7,700

Barrett has been lighting it up since coming back from the All-Star break, averaging about  33 points, six rebounds, and five assists per game. For the month of February, Barrett was fifth in the league in field goal attempts per game (22.2).

Most of his production has been based on this volume as he hasn't been necessarily efficient but if the Knicks are to win this game I believe Barrett will have to be a big reason why. Over the past three games, Barrett is fifth in the league in usage (34.7).

I can admit I'm chasing for the ceiling with this pick, but It also helps that Devin Booker and Chris Paul will be out so this should be a different Suns team than what we’ve normally seen this season.

Pascal Siakam, Toronto Raptors, $9,100

Siakam has been struggling to score the ball but his overall game makes it easy for him to rack up fantasy points. He has been hit or miss lately but he has a great matchup against the Magic. Over the past three games they are playing at the second-fastest pace and they allow the second most DK points to power forwards.

Raptors’ coach Nick Nurse plays the starters for most of the game so as long as this game is somewhat competitive Siakam should have plenty of opportunities. In the month of February, Siakam was tied at 13th for minutes played per game (37).

Look for injury news on Fred Van Vleet, if he is out tonight Siakam looks even better tonight. He has averaged three more assists in games this season when Van Vleet is out.
