We are inching closer to the NBA playoffs and the race is getting tight!
The first game up is the Charlotte Hornets, who are without LaMelo Ball, as slight favorites at 4-point favorites against the Detroit Pistons, with an over/under of 226 points.
A young team in the Houston Rockets is facing off against the Indiana Pacers who are massive favorites at 9.5 points. The over/under is coming in hot at 235 points.
Utah Jazz should have their way as a surprising 3-point favorite against the Orlando Magic with an over/under of 232 points.
Stephen Curry is back with the Golden State Warriors as 1.5-point favorites and playing the Memphis Grizzles. The over/under is one of the highest on the slate at 235 points.
A surprise team that has looked great in the Brooklyn Nets is playing the Milwaukee Bucks which are the biggest favorites on the slate at 13 points.
The late-night hammer features the New York Knicks as 4-point favorites against the Sacramento Kings.
Our injury report lists Ja Morant, Spencer Dinwiddie, Kevin Porter Junior, Nic Claxton, and Andrew Wiggins as out. With those five players highlighted players as non-options, let's look at the rest of the slate.
NBA DFS 3-9-23 Yahoo Breakdown
Point Guard - Tyus Jones, $25, Memphis Grizzles
Ja Morant has been out for the Memphis Grizzles for reasons we won't get into. Tyus Jones has risen to the occasion stepping up for this team. The Duke star slid into the starting role producing massive numbers and is hard to pass up in this matchup. The fast-paced matchup should lead the role player to pad his stats up. I am locking and loading Tyus Jones in all formats.

Shooting Guard - Desmond Bane, $30, Memphis Grizzles
Similar to the breakdown above, Desmond Bane is having to step up without Ja Morant on the Memphis Grizzles. The all-rookie guard is seeing unlimited minutes now and has come into form. The fast-paced matchup works for Desmond Bane to score off the ball leading to more assists for Tyus Jones. The combo of the two guards on the Memphis Grizzles fills our lineup!

Small Forward - RJ Barrett, $23, New York Knicks
We have now seen the Knicks veteran scorch the scoring stat sheets the past few games. RJ Barret has helped his team go on a winning streak before losing their last away game. Seeing over 30 fantasy points in the past two games, I am riding the streak set out for RJ Barret. I am liking the New York Knicks a ton tonight!

Power Forward - Tari Eason, $18, Houston Rockets
What a surprise the rookie has been this season on the Houston Rockets. Tari Eason has stepped up to the court and played significant minutes recently. Seeing over 25 minutes a game now, the bench role player has made the most of the production he has seen. I am riding the wave of the possible rookie of the year padding his stat lineup!
Other Options-Julius Randle and Keegan Murray
Center -Mitchell Robinson, $20, New York Knicks
The price tag stood out to me once again for the big man on the New York Knicks. Mitchell Robinson has seen his rebounding numbers jump up and ever since he was injured, he came back a new man. We need to take advantage of the price tag we can before it jumps up. The matchup is well in the favor to play big minutes for the Knicks enforcer!
