NBA DFS 4-19-22 Yahoo Breakdown
Point Guard - Chris Paul, $38, Phoenix Suns
The matchup speaks for itself, and this position offers a ton of options. The lone man though stands out to me in Chris Paul as the veteran elite play makers. The Pelican's defense doesn't stand a chance for Chris Paul with his playing style spreading out the offense. Chris Paul not only was excellent in the assist line last game against the Pelicans but erupted with his point. The price tag does not justify what Chris Paul can do here!
Shooting Guard - Max Strus, $13, Miami Heat
I continue to go to the well with Max Strus because he continues to fill in a great role for the Heat. The minutes are continuing to hover between 20 minutes and 30 minutes. Bam Adebayo is questionable along with a few bench role players on this team are, this will lead to even more minutes to soak up for Strus. The price tag is way too cheap for the quality output we can gain from Strus.
Small Forward - Anthony Edwards, $33, Minnesota Timberwolves
This spot is interesting to me because I was stuck between Anthony Edwards and Mikal Bridges. I am going with the star in Minnesota. The defense is not big enough to defend Edwards with his ability to make the big plays. Edwards erupted last game against the Grizzles and there is not stopping him here once again. The stat line was filled up and this may sound like I am eating the chalk, but it is hard to not love Edwards with the price tag being super low.
Other Options - Mikal Bridges and Jimmy Butler
Power Forward - John Collins, $22, Atlanta Hawks
This position does not offer us very many solid options despite one stud that stands out at the price tag he is carrying. John Collins maybe injured and limited, but he saw 22 minutes last game along with almost hitting 20 fantasy points. Collins is too cheap, and I assumed his price tag was going to hover around 30 dollars. Take advantage of the price tag and brew the value.
Center - DeAndre Ayton, $27, Phoenix Suns
There is no way Jonas Valanciunas can stop DeAndre Ayton on the defensive end. Ayton almost dropped a 50 bomb fantasy point output last game and he can certainly do it again. This play is based on recent form and the way the offense is flowing through Ayton. Paul with look for Ayton in the paint, which is great for our lineups having Chris Paul locked. Time for the Suns to thrive!
Other Options - Karl Anthony Towns and Brandon Clarke
