NBA DFS 4-30-21 DraftKings Picks

Welcome to the NBA DFS 4-30-21 DraftKings Picks article!

Last night there was a six-game slate, tonight there will be a standard seven-game slate.

Making the right picks will be crucial tonight with so many games to choose from.

These are the higher-priced players I expect to pay off.

8 Game Slate

Hawks @ 76ers
Spurs @ Celtics
Wizards @ Cavaliers
Magic @ Grizzlies
Blazers @ Nets
Bucks @ Bulls
Jazz @ Suns
Kings @ Lakers

Guards

Russell Westbrook, Washington Wizards, $11,000

The Brodie has been on an absolute tear the month of April, dropping 13 triple-doubles so far and looking to end the month in fashion. Over the past three games, the Cavaliers have the eighth-worst defense in the league

Russ didn’t reach value when he faced the Cavaliers last week, ending the night with only 40.3 DK points.

I expect this time around to be much different because last week he only attempted 13 shots and grabbed 5 rebounds, both are out of the norm for the triple-double king.

Brodie will most likely be chalk and has the potential to be the leading scorer on the slate tonight.

Jrue Holiday, Milwaukee Bucks, $7,800

With Giannis getting hurt in the first minute last night against the Rockets, Holiday exploded for 62.5 DK points.

Jrue’s role expanded with the absence of the Greek Freak, ending the game with 29 points, 10 assists, and 4 blocks.

With Giannis most likely to miss tonight’s game (sprained ankle), look for Holiday and Khris Middleton to pick up the slack again.

Holiday’s usage spikes by almost a 5 percentage point boost (25.9%) this season when playing without Giannis.

The Bulls have been terrible during Zach Lavine‘s absence (COVID-19 protocols), which should allow Holiday to reach value.

Chris Paul, Phoenix Suns, $7,800

CP3 continues to battle against father time, playing in his 16th season and helping the Suns snap their playoff drought. Over the past six games, Paul has increased his scoring, averaging about 22 points and 9 assists per game.

The Jazz have a great defense on paper but will be without their starting backcourt in Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley. I wouldn’t be opposed to stacking him and Devin Booker in this matchup.

Earlier this month against the Jazz he scored 29 points and 9 assists, ending the night with 48.5 DK points.

Since the All-Star break, CP3 is tied for fourth in assists (8.6).

Forwards

Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks, $7,900

As I stated earlier, Giannis is more than likely to miss tonight’s game which will put the load on Holiday and Middleton.

Middleton should be expected to be the first option in his absence and he showed last night, exploding for 33 points and 8 assists against the Rockets.

I expect Middleton to have at least 20 shot attempts being the first scoring option and should be able to take advantage of this weak Bulls’ defense. While Middleton’s shot has been shaky lately, his ability to get peripheral stats makes up for it.

Anthony Davis, Los Angeles Lakers, $9,100

The Brow had his best scoring performance Wednesday night since coming back from injury. He looked like his old self scoring 26 points against the Wizards and the biggest thing was that he was able to play 31 minutes.

With the Lakers looking to stop sliding down the standings, look for AD to come out aggressive and licking his chops at this matchup.

Going against the Kings tonight, AD should be able to bully their frontcourt. The Kings have been one of the worst defensive teams all season and allow the most points in the paint per game.

AD should be a sure lock to get five times value and I wouldn’t be surprised if he ended the night with at least 60 DK points.

Tobias Harris, Philadelphia 76ers, $7,100

Harris has been quietly playing at an all-star level this season, almost matching his career-high in points and rebounds.

Facing the Hawks on Wednesday he scored 37.3 DK points in 26 minutes due to a blowout. While there still is the risk of another blowout, Trae Young has a 50-50 chance to play tonight which should make the game much closer.

The Hawks are currently sixth-worst in points and DK points when defending power forwards.

At $7,100, Harris is a great option to look at with the lack of higher-tier forwards on the slate.
