In this podcast we discuss:

The 2018 Fantasy Football F6P Mock Draft

The F6P staff mock draft is something our site does every season to see how our writers are assessing the season before we head into the NFL camps. The draft had a distinctly heavy running back theme. The staff generally held to standard drafting principles with few reaches and steals.

The set up: QB- RB1-RB2-WR1-WR2-WR3-TE-FLEX-DST-K + 6 BENCH

See the above draft board to follow along.

LeSean McCoy, RB, Buffalo Bills

The latest on McCoy is that the Bills are looking into the allegations. McCoy dismisses them as “baseless.” The fantasy impact is enormous for how this plays out. Much of the situation rings similar to the Ray Rice case back in 2014. It could result in either in an commisioner exemption prevent McCoy from taking the field; much like Adrian Peterson in 2015.

Heavy RB drafting

Is our heavy RB draft typical of what we should expect in most redraft fantasy leagues this season? We certainly know that wide receivers are following notably behind. Has the pendulum swung again?

Draft positions

Where you draft requires different strategies. Whether or not you are near the turn or in the middle have a distinct effect on how you approach each choice you make.

All this and much, much, more on The Fantasy Edge…
