The Fantasy Edge 2020 Week 10: Cookies

on

We will run out of sub-heads if Dalvin keeps this up. Another 200+ yardage day for Cook last Sunday and his owners rejoice. Not so great for Zeke Elliott people who continue to see him slide nearly into RB3 levels with every passing week. We look at a number of backfields Week 10 approaches.

Jonathan Chan, Kevin Huo, Richard Savill are your hosts for fantasy advice and insights and other breaking news.

In this podcast we discuss:

News

  • Kyle Allen – Alex Smith Season ending surgery makes Alex Smith starter. Can he maintain McLaurin’s value?
  • Christian McCaffrey Looked like he never left, but once again the injury bug bit. He is questionable for Week 10 with a shoulder strain – MRI to follow.
  • Kenyan Drake Remains day-to-day. Chase Edmonds taking the helm gets a C+ for providing reasonable TD-less FPs (10.3 hppr), but 70 for 25 with a longest run of 6 = not good.
  • Jake Luton “No Guarantee” Minshew returns as starting QB when healthy. Luton passed for 300+ yards in his debut – a rarity since the merger. Hit Chark for a 73 yd TD in his first completed pass.
  • Jonathan Taylor Colts coach Frank Reich said he still has “a level of confidence” in Jonathan Taylor. Taylor out-snapped Jordan Wilkins, but Wilkins out-touched Taylor. What do we make of this?
  • Kalen Ballage The Groundhog Day RB. Well, 15-69-1 plus 2 catches for 15 yards. Now what? First Pope, now Ballage. It appears Joshua Kelley will NEVER take the front of this backfield.
  • Antonio Brown Video showed he wants to keep his head down and play ball, both literally and figuratively. Went 3 of 5 for 31 yards in the Saints 38-3 disaster.
